When the horrific news shows gets too much to bear with all the upheaval in the world I watch you all make candy and I just chill out and think maybe we'll be alright!
I bought my husband some hard candies for Valentine's day. We loved them so much we had to buy more before the month was over. This time we added one of the most delicious things I've ever had in my life, chocolate covered pecan brittle. If anyone wonders if the candy is good, it's beyond good.
Your personalities show in the way you mix the candy on the table. Steve is very calm, quiet, moves methodically & slowly. While Terry is scrapping very fast, loud noises with the paddles on the table & moving all over. Cooper is in between them somewhere.😂 They really put themselves & their love into everything they do.😊
It's still kinda weird not having Max as a part of the shop anymore, but Cooper and Brian are doing so well and are quickly becoming a wonderful addition to the team!
Max decided a few months ago that he wanted to try something new, so he left Hercules Candy. It was on good terms, but that's about all we know as he is a very private person and didn't want to make a big deal about it.
For anyone wondering. Cream of Tartar is a levening agent that acts fast and is a by product from wine production. Where as Baking Soad, also a levening agent, works slowly as you bake/heat. Baking powder is a mixture of the two so you get the best of both worlds.
In this case, cream of tartar is used to prevent the sugar from crystallizing, thereby allowing the candy to be able to be bent and molded rather than cracking. Because of this, it also contributes to the sheen of the candy as it is worked.
When Steve was putting the colors down I noticed that something didn't look right and then Terry confirmed my suspicions, lol. Where's the purple:) The candy looked yummy. Everyone did a great job. Thanks, Hercules crew, for all you do:) Really fun vidya.
Love the videos. I received my first order this past week. Got the cotton candy hard candy...Soooo GOOD!! Got some chocolates too. 8 oz..gone in 2 days. The chocolate is so good.
love this! I made donuts for 18 or so years, mostly in a mom & pop local shop. It was much the same vibe as this place. Experimenting with flavors, small crew. Hard work, but rewarding!
I'm enjoying some lovely cranberry bubbles while watching! I've ordered SO much candy from you guys lately! LOL. Would love to buy a bunny, if you ever make them available.
I think if y’all try to twist the candy while you pull it it will give it a nice design. Like so the lines aren’t so straight, like you do with candy cane
Do you guys "cut" the candy anymore or do you just "crimp" it?? I love watching you all cut the candy and the ones with the designs in the center are so pretty!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Love the video it is kind of we're not seeing Max there but everyone is doing an amazing job I would like to know where Max is working now just kind of wondering if I do miss him
I like the part where he was pulling the candy before it went into the cutter. Those were very pretty. I love watching the behind the scenes of candy companies. I think it's a fascinating proces. EDIT: I'm in love with the candy bunny! Have you ever made a kitten?
It’s a rainbow not tie die. There are ways around mixing it to make a tie die. Roll smaller pieces and stand them up but stack them around in a circle formation.
I have never noticed if you guys have cushioned mats down around the cooling table and where the counter is that you make the hard candy at to make it easier on your joints?
No citric acid? That seems like a major oversight (unless it was added and not filmed?). No tropical punch is complete without a bit of a sour edge, as many of the possible tropical fruits in question (e.g. mango, orange, passion fruit, pineapple) all have notable citric acid (especially pineapple, which can have up to 8X the citric acid present in oranges).
🍉DUCKY!!!🍉Love watching candy being made...AND ALL THINGS TYE-DYED😁 🙋🏻♀️I need a tshirt like the vibrance of the one Steve in wearing in the catalogue AND an apron!!!😉👍🏻
I wonder if there's a way they could actually make the color pattern look like a tie dye pattern. Like configure the stripes a different way or something. Or do layers of color all the way around the big white center. Who knows. Definitely not me lol.
dont remember if you ever answered why you dont have a driops candy roller like lofty pusute have? then you can have different patterns and it is so much quicker. Love fro Norway
Watching hard candy get made never gets old. So much measuring, molding and mixing 😋
When the horrific news shows gets too much to bear with all the upheaval in the world I watch you all make candy and I just chill out and think maybe we'll be alright!
We are happy to be your sweet oasis of calm ☺️
I agree. Watching candy being made brings me joy!

Always enjoyable to watch candy made by “Hercules Candy”!
It's still kinda weird not having Max as a part of the shop anymore, but Cooper and Brian are doing so well and are quickly becoming a wonderful addition to the team!
Agreed, it's not the same vibe that I fell in love with. I hold out hope that he comes back some day.
what happened to max:(
yeah where did max go?
Max decided a few months ago that he wanted to try something new, so he left Hercules Candy. It was on good terms, but that's about all we know as he is a very private person and didn't want to make a big deal about it.
I was wondering what felt so different
Cooper is such an awesome addition to the team!

Your channel popped up as a suggestion awhile back.
I love this content.
The candy, the people, the process. Pure awesomeness.
Thank you!

Seemed like purple was just bound and determined NOT to be in the candy.🤭
Have y'all made a rainbow candy where the flavors coordinate the colors? That would be pretty neat.
Love the videos. I received my first order this past week. Got the cotton candy hard candy...Soooo GOOD!!
Got some chocolates too. 8 oz..gone in 2 days. The chocolate is so good.
I love the twisted pieces , Brain. It looks more tie dyed.
Yes! The twisting was awesome. Tie dye definitely needs a more random look than just stripes.

I work at a bakery - there's 3 morning bakers and 2 day bakers. The morning bakers start at 12pm, 1am, and 3am and we open at 6am.
all that Herculean effort lifting the sugar and corn syrup, helps make you guys make amazing candy ;)
Glad I ordered strawberry banana candy last weekend. It doesn’t hang around long. I just put in an order for tie died hard candy.
Man I love watching you all making candy. Thank you for sharing. It's relaxing in a way. Maybe not for you but for me it is. LOL
Just placed an order for 2 bags! And some potato chip bark! First time buying after watching for over 2 years
I'm enjoying some lovely cranberry bubbles while watching! I've ordered SO much candy from you guys lately! LOL. Would love to buy a bunny, if you ever make them available.

Would look nice with the tie dye
AWESOME how this candy is made!! I need to run out and buy some ASAP!!😊
It looks better and much brighter with the white in there too. 🤩😋
What can't Cooper do'??? Nice job as usual. Yum tie dye flavor.
Why does it bubble up when you rub the colour into the mix on the tray after pouring? Like at 0:14 near the start.
It's the water in the food coloring evaporating.
Hello from Delaware! Watching this while actively waiting for my order to come tomorrow!
Do you guys "cut" the candy anymore or do you just "crimp" it?? I love watching you all cut the candy and the ones with the designs in the center are so pretty!!! Keep up the great work!!!
We always love watching you all making candy 🍬 ❤ keep it up. And ship some to the UK for us guys please 👍👍❤🐼❤
have you guys tried laying the colors out in layers and rolling them up in a spiral before covering in white??
Did you know your 2nd name means pig in german?
This is so fascinating! The colors are pretty
Love the video it is kind of we're not seeing Max there but everyone is doing an amazing job I would like to know where Max is working now just kind of wondering if I do miss him
Amazing. Always amazing your work all hard workers every single one on you.

EDIT: I'm in love with the candy bunny! Have you ever made a kitten?
A Lofty Pursuits mug! One of only two places I miss from my 16 years in Tallahassee!
That cauldron is giving me a medieval vibe.
They were blessed to have Cooper as the next in line
I love this channel it has inspired me to start drawing my own art
That's so great to hear!
stainless steel backing on the wall and put a small table under the hook so if you drop its okay?
there is something about rainbow candy that looks so delicious 😋
Just ordered this candy! Can’t wait to try it after seeing yous make it!
Why do you guys have to keep turning the bigger side of the candy will it melt or get hard if you don't flip it?
Yes! The side away from the candy will get cold, and it will start to lose its shape, so a couple of reasons
The candy animals look so cute! The candy looks so pretty, all of them!
This reminds me of working in hot glass but you can use your hands. Beautiful candy!
So why doesn’t the white and the other colors not mix when you put them Together, if you can’t put the colors together?
It’s a rainbow not tie die. There are ways around mixing it to make a tie die. Roll smaller pieces and stand them up but stack them around in a circle formation.
You guys should use a batch like to make it into a spiral circle to make large suckers. 🍭
I would call this happy candy. This is a cool video .How does one win a duck or bunny. Would love one for my granddaughter. Definetly ordering some.😊
tropical punch is a flavor not found in nature, it's entirely man made! like bubblegum flavor!
Great video. The colors are gorgeous.
Thanks!
I have never noticed if you guys have cushioned mats down around the cooling table and where the counter is that you make the hard candy at to make it easier on your joints?
Yes! It helps our backs, feet and joints, highly recommend!

🙋🏻♀️I need a tshirt like the vibrance of the one Steve in wearing in the catalogue AND an apron!!!😉👍🏻
what is the shape of the candy called? what type of cutter is used?
I spotted two orange and zero purple immediately. It was bugging me so badly, until they caught it, lol.
What is that ball of stuff you put in it at the beginning??
Would love to try your candy but shipping is way too expensive coming north of the 49th. 😥
I guess it was a 'Coop (coup) de grace' to the bulb ending of the candy block to make the candy rabbit haha
I like the twisted candies.
Hi ya’ll in the Candy World 👋🏼
The vision is sweet…
I wish it could be smelli-vision! 😋🥳
Love from me in East Riding of Yorkshire 🍬🤍🍭
I learned the colors Roygbiv to , the silly things we remember from first grade 🤣 so long ago for me !
40 years ago and I still remember this,
Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain.
(Taught in English schools).
Ahhh a Red Sox emblem 🥰 does Cooper get lots of grief for that? lol
Nahhh, there aren't any baseball fans that work here haha
@@HerculesCandy lol
I am eating some of your hard candy as I watch this. So yummy!
Best way to watch a video!
Love watching your videos. We stopped in today for some of your delicious treats. Keep up the great work, in the shop and on the videos.
What's the expiry date of this batch? Then is when it gets old :D
🤣
Wow love it great job
How does it not stick to the gloves
The end piece animals for giveaway is a great idea. Thank you all.
Ohh I soo can't wait for this tie dye flavored hard candy to come here
Please explain how does the scale work for corn starch and sugar?
The candy looks delicious, when it's in focus. Seems like every 3 or 4 seconds it goes out of focus.
Nice Christmas candy rainbow 🌈 Pride cool
What’s the clear looking substance in the beginning of the video?
Corn syrup.
@@Uniquelyyours1 aha thanks
What if you made some coconut hard candy and colored it white?
Cute animal shapes
I love the watermelon duck!
I love it better in a twist
New camera man sounds so much like Craig!
Was it a coincidence that Terry was wearing a tie dye apron and hat?
when will this be available online?
Is there a way to get free shipping?? 20$ 10$ worth of candy is wild.
I like your candy🍡🍬🍭
Where’s Greg, the tall red headed guy? He usually works with Cooper.
I wonder if there's a way they could actually make the color pattern look like a tie dye pattern. Like configure the stripes a different way or something. Or do layers of color all the way around the big white center. Who knows. Definitely not me lol.
that looks so good
is that water filtered or Pure tap water?
It’s sooo cool!
I was waiting to see tie dyed candy 😭
at some point it starts to look like fruity strip gum to me. Does that still exist?
the one with the Zebra on the wrapper?
I need to know if you guys could make those candies with cherry flavor Can order Them
dont remember if you ever answered why you dont have a driops candy roller like lofty pusute have? then you can have different patterns and it is so much quicker. Love fro Norway
