  • Robert Monroe was a pioneer of studies on consciousness. The interview is a rare document because he tells his evolution from out-of-body experiences to multidimensional travels.

      He was remarkable at telling his stories. It's obvious he greatly cared about sharing this experience with people. The hemi sync manual is very detailed and he provides solutions for common issues. I wish I could have met him. He'd have been an incredible conversationalist, optimist, and teacher. He is also the reason I no longer fear death because I now know death does not exist. I hope I meet him on the other side. Especially knowing that his students would fall in love with him on the other side 🤣. He's a being of love and you can feel that when around him. At least, that's what he explained in his books. He said something about a student who he could not reach on the other side after a period of time. He couldn't understand why he wasn't able to meet some of the students. Come to find out, some of the students were putting him inside their energy conversion box because he was that much of a distraction as a being of love lol. He explained that it was an intense sexual attraction. Needless to say, it made some of the students embarrassed and so they threw him in the box and that action actually affected where Bob could go. Such interesting stuff.

      @@canopyfields it's one of the first tools you learn to use during Hemi sync. You basically imagine a box in your mind and anything that might interrupt your meditation will visually go into that box. For instance, if you are stressed about bills then you will visually imagine throwing your mail into this box you created. After you throw everything that distracts you in there, you visually close this box and walk away from it. It's a very simple tool and one of the easiest to learn, but it is one of the best. It works very well.

    I will say, as someone who was called by the out of body experience before I understood it, that vibration he mentions really IS SO terrifying without the context. I used to think it was an ensuing heart attack, every time. Then using mindfulness, I one day asked myself, "Well, why is it only when I'm sleeping, or about to fall asleep?" Finding the answer to that question was a journey that changed my life forever. Thank you so much Bob Monroe, for pointing me there

      i experience the same, and only sometimes surrender to it, yet i dont astral project from it. there was one time where i was sleeping but felt in my kitchen? and the sensation of this vibration and being pulled up, after seeing tall grey beings outside. i'm not sure if that was part of a dream, but the sensation was entirely real. whenever i dream and the sensations start in the dream, i wake up and they remain while awake. or i wake up and they begin. i'd love to astral project from that place

    I had vibrations during hypnotherapy and therapist didn't know why so I started researching and now I'm here. Funny too that I've had a lot of dejavu all throughout my life and even some rare precognitions. I kept ignoring these things because I figured non of it was scientific and was just hallucinations or something. Starting to think there is a concerted effort to keep people from taking these topics seriously.

    • @FortheSoulFtS
      @FortheSoulFtS 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      there is a cia document released in 2010 wich explain the scientific part. To resume, its all about getting step by step your whole body entering in resonance. Your body resonance should be quite low and in consonance with the earth electromagnetic field allowing you to do some good stuff....

    • @escapevelocity8092
      @escapevelocity8092 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a fascinating statement indeed, and because the curiosity comes from direct experience, I will share what I understand.
      If you'd have had an experienced hypnotherapist in 'past life regression', they would have guided you through the vibrations to certain past life events, which may have been relevant to the cause of you having hypnotherapy in the first place. For more info on this look up Dr. ROBERT NEWTON, especially his book 'life between lives', but also his TH-cam vids.
      The fascinating part of your comment is that: 'it seems there is an active force preventing this material from becoming mainstream'.
      I pondered this for years, after having several obe's myself, and wandering why is this just treated as another subject matter? I found the answer in the South American approach to understanding the spirit, from shamanistic teachings of the olmecs and toltecs. They say, there is 2 forces of life, the tonal, and the nagual. The tonal is everything 'conscious', everything we can become aware of, understand, rationalise think about and create descriptions for and hold memories of. The 'nagual' on the other hand is the unexplainable, the unknown and the unknowable, it can not be described but it 'can' be experienced, hence our memory does it's best to blank it out in order to maintain chronology in time space.
      Any manifestation of the nagual is quickly quietened down, repressed, redirected, forgotten, redirected and re-labelled and explained away as a misunderstanding of something else more logical. I think this description hits a perfect note for any report of things 'out of the ordinary' like, ufo reports, ghost encounters, disappearances etc. Have you noticed how absurd these things seem to the rational mind? A part of us wants to laugh it all away as creative outflow or pure folly, but another part of us is so curious it can't leave it alone, it knows the truth in it but can't calculate it logically, and out-of efficiency, we put it on the 'anomalous' pile and ignore it. This is the tonal putting a lid on the nagual, the tonal is a protector, it keeps us sane and in the predictable, but in our stiffness it becomes a guard, and prevents us from experiencing the other, larger part of ourselves.

    • @mustangmikep51

      its called MAYA...don't rock the boat....its foolish to be WISE in a World where IGNORANCE is BLISS...but there are a few of us who are AWAKE now....despite all the false propaganda we were force fed from our birth...but it takes TIME and EFFORT to break free of the illusion we were born into....but its possible if you try hard enough(and are lucky!)

    • @escapevelocity8092
      @escapevelocity8092 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @mustangmikep51 the reason it's never foolish to be wise is because it can only ever bring 'positive' or 'neutral' outcomes. And it speaks to an unspoken part of us also, overt wisdom aggitates the sluggishness of surrounding minds, and helps us look squarely at our collective ego without shame.

      @P.B. Horror Gaming yep that's it. As your 2 phases (physical body and energy body) are separating, there is an interference pattern which we percieve as 'vibration'. But notice its not actually in the physical body, just seems like it is. Sleep paralysis is occurring because of a deep fear. Our brains switch off different areas in priority order when falling into natural sleep, but fear or tension can cause certain parts to stay active while the rest falls asleep, this is sleep paralysis. There is always astute fear sensation with this because the energy body is being held captive by a command from the physical body. And we percieve this as being trapped. Just try to relax yourself 1 bit of body at a time, if it's too much, just put all of your focus into 1 small body part, like a single finger or toe, and start to move it, then it will remind the rest of the body how to realign the phase relationship with the physical.

    I have had an OBE, and it was without drugs or external influence, just the simple act of staying awake in my mind whilst allowing my body to go to sleep. It was a short experience but I saw a lump under the duvet which was me, and I was completely conscious. The first thought I had was FEAR because I was scared of the fact it actually worked. Then the "me" under the duvet jumped up and I woke up again in my bed. Out of Body Experiences are completely real and Robert Monroe's insight is not to be taken lightly. Please reply if you have ever managed to achieve anything like this too!

    Simply incredible. It gives another perspective to what we know as a human life. The way he describes our addiction to experiencing human lives is very similar to what Hindus and Buddhists say about our reality, the difference is that they transformed it into religions and dogma (until a certain point), while Robert explained it more objectively, according to what he experienced. I'm grateful for his works, and I'm sure that regardless of the nature of all this reality, he helped making an impact on my awareness of it all. I'm sure I'm getting what I came here for, and I hope it's enough once this current life ends. Thank you, Robert, Guido and everyone involved!

    It started with the feeling of falling into a jelly net when I decided to fall down on the floor. I didn’t hit the floor but rather seemed to bounce up a little. Then I said to myself “ could I reach the ceiling?” I jumped up and sure enough I grabbed the ceiling and clung to it like I had webbed hands. I looked around smiling and said “I think I’ll go to the other corner of the room” and bounced down to where I intended to go. The guided instructions in the focus 10 audio seemed to take hours between statements that only lasted a half a minute. I said “wow this is fun” so I jumped out through the window and onto a ledge of an apartment building I knew of. The guided narration disappeared at this point. I looked out at the clouds and jumped down to the ground and landed comfortably.I woke and pulled up the blinds after the exercise to look out the window now that the sun was up. The clouds were the same exact ones I saw when I was “out.” You know when the sensations are clear enough but you would have to know for yourself. If I tried to consciously return to that state I never got there. By not trying at all I got there, or didn’t sometimes. The explanation isn’t sufficient. It’s rrrrrrreally fun.

    1. when i was 18 In puerto rico i came out of my body while sleeping and I was floating in the middle of my room that was little.
    2. when I was 20 in Florida sometimes I couldn't wake myself like if I was conscious trapped inside my body (it's called sleep paralysis) but this time it was different, I don't know how to describe it but I will try
    I went to sleep in my room and my mom was talking with somebody in the living room and I felt my sleep paralysis and i could still hear my mom, i wanted to wake up but myself told myself let it flow this time or give up to it, like dont fight it this time and immediately after that i felt like a knot in the middle of my stomach like if a rope had a knot holding my soul and I felt like I was being pulled from the ceiling. I immediately woke up and the position I was it was like my chest was up.
    I run out of my room scared. I literally felt something was pulling me out of my body. It didn't felt like someone was there or an identity (I don't remember, maybe). All I remember is feeling the knot, the straight golden line coming out of the knot. like it was a golden rope with a knot to my soul and I was being pulled up. and also the position I woke up with.

    Starting at age 14 yrs thru my mid 20's, I would enter into a very deep sleep and experience my body buzzing and the i heard a loud roaring-type of wind. Only a very few times did my spirit separate and I hovered above my body. I didn't even need to try!
    Since this was back in the 70's and no internet nor people to talk with, it did frighten me. I thought I was experiencing death and it got to the point where I was scared to fall asleep. It even happened during the day while napping.
    How did it go away? I started attending a Christian Church and I shared my experiences with my Pastors wife - they PRAYED IT AWAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS! And because they convinced me that it was "of the devil", I believed them and it stopped 😭
    I spent 30 yrs in that dogma and then I had a true "knowledge" awakening to the BS that Doctrine serves to control MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT.. I started on my quest to reinvigorate my spirit to let go! Im no longer afraid and I will welcome it when and if i can experience that again.

      I have had this buzzing/tingling experience for many years. There is a loud roaring or maybe a clamour of many voices. I often see intricate geometric patterns kaleidoscoping before my eyes. I was frightening at first, but I learned to relax into it and enjoy it. The buzzing or tingling typically lasts about one minute then my astral body lifts out of my physical body and floats around the room. I hallucinate voices or other people in the room. Then my bodies merge together once more and I fall into a deep sleep of vivid, lucid dreaming. When I wake up I feel indescribably blissful. This can last for hours. It feels like my brain has had an invigorating inner-shower. All sparkling new, and fresh.

    I deal with coding quite often (C++, javascript). During the day, I try to gain as much information as possible about the principles of operation of the industrial process that will be controlled by my code. I create a verbal description of how the process works. I also try to write all the most important data variables for future code. In the evening, when I'm lying in bed, I recall the vibrations and let them slowly fade away on their own. Because of this, part of my brain falls asleep, but another part works as if at tenfold speed. I can then create code and even simulate its operation just in my head with full control. Then I have the impression that all these processes take place at a hundred times faster speed than when I am awake and writing code on the computer, fully conscious. In the morning I get up and write down the pseudocode that I completely remember and that I created in my head. During the day, I translate this code into a given language, e.g. C++, and test it on the computer. The amazing thing is that it works practically flawlessly! and the fact that something that would normally take me 7 days of work, I can do in one night while sleeping.

    for anyone interested in further study, do the gateway experience, he created it to do the very things he talks about, but awarely and controlled, ie. astral project, obe, manifesting things into you physical reality etc. its life changing btw
    ps. go in with the thought that nothing you currently believe is completely true and have an open mind. be open to the fact that the things most believe and are widely accepted aren't true, and if a limiting belief presents itself in your mind just observe said thought and ask why do i believe said belief. the answer is usually, "because i was taught in school, or that's what my pastor says, or thats what the media says, and so on." but by identifying that someone else is responsible for said belief, maybe be open that 1. it isn't true 2. it was purposely taught and engrained for the specific reason of limiting you and keep you from discovering how truly amazing we are and not from a physical standpoint.

    5:52 - he speaks of a vibration that he experienced 25-30 times and instead of fighting his way out of it he finally decided to ride it out. I'm sort of kicking myself now, because most of my life I had sleep paralysis (100's of times, but it's been 10 years since it's happened) and I'm pretty sure I know what he means by the vibration, which I always ended up pulling myself out of because as he described there's like an embedded fear that you will die if you don't. In my case the vibration comes in the form of intense ringing which progressively gets louder and louder and when the ringing gets too intense I pull myself out, so I could go back to sleep. I've played around in this state for as long as 30 minutes. It's hard to explain, but to pull myself out takes around 5-7 seconds of continued effort. With each second of effort the ringing gets quieter, but if I ease up on the effort before the 5-7 seconds, the ringing begins to rise from the point it's at when I ease up. I remain in this limbo state of applying effort to easing up on the effort and I go as long as possible without applying any effort until the ringing gets too loud. For whatever reason being in this state comes with a fear. I know the fear doesn't come from me, because it was such a normal habitual thing for me, that I found it to be a nuisance, but there is a fear that intensifies the longer you go without pulling yourself out of it. But if I knew then what I know now, I would just tough it out and let the ringing go without effort. According to Robert Monroe it takes around 5 minutes for this to happen. In my case each time I applied effort I was resetting the process.
    He doesn't describe this state as being in sleep paralysis though, but in my case that's the first sign I'm having sleep paralysis is I hear the ringing and it was such a regular thing for me, that it was frustrating because I just want to sleep and in this state you're not asleep. You need to pull yourself out of it so you could then go back to sleep. In my case I'm paralyzed in this state... I'm not asleep but I'm also unable to move. If only I could have sleep paralysis again, I'll ride it out... if I didn't have the ringing though I would have already ridden it out. It's kind of random but a sound that is very similar to the sound I hear during this is the first 11 second of Hit The Lights by Metallica, but just imagine that sounds getting progressively louder.

    • @Blades729
      @Blades729 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Amazing, word for word what you described happened to me also around 15 years ago. I don't get it anymore. It was scary also the loud high pitch sound vibrations felt great though. On some occasions during the sleep paralysis I would feel like I am rising slowly then really fast and the noise would get louder. I would fight to move so much and struggle eventually breaking out of it. Then I would go back to sleep and within 5 min or so it would come back.

    • @LibertyRapsher
      @LibertyRapsher ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Blades729 - yeah. I found that anytime I had sleep paralysis and attempted to go back to sleep laying on my back I would slip right back into paralysis. Many accounts claim this as well. If you roll onto your side it won't come back.In fact I've never had sleep paralysis laying on my side and from what I gather that's the case with most if not all accounts. I never experienced great feelings from it though (you must have been close to astral projecting or you partially did, if you felt great).
      Now I'm kicking myself, because all those years I could have been astral projecting if I knew then what I know now. Apparently all I needed to do was endure 5 minutes and I would have been free to roam. I've been trying to have a sleep paralysis upon finding this out, but hasn't happened as of yet.
      I've only astral projected once before that I'm aware of, but it was with the assistance of DMT.

    • @escapevelocity8092
      @escapevelocity8092 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Brilliantly written, I've also locked myself out of the experience it seems, through fear. If only we didn't live in a culture which is scared of these things, if we were brought up to expect these things and taught how to navigate them., we would probably be a much more harmonious creature, like man used to be, before the modification.
      I had seizures from age 8-11. I now understand that they occurred because I tried to stay 'out of body' after the vibrations faded away. The fear is completely natural, and only occurs because of our enculturation, of course these are the layers of the onion which we call death, or the 'afterlife' but that doesn't need to mean that we are going to lose our physical body, that is 'rationality' creating resistance to 'the other', and thus stalling it's progress. Your description is so personal and accurate to 'the way things are' I instantly recognise it as genuine.
      When we fall into natural sleep, our brains turn off in different parts in a specific order, this ensures our restful sleep so that we don't flail around while conducting dream activity. Sometimes, when there is tension or fear, parts can stay awake, while the rest goes asleep. Instantly, our consciousness is transferred to the energy body, but it is pinned by the command from the part of the physical body which is still awake, we percieve both our energy body 'and' our physical body as being unable to move, this generates intense fear. Just put all your focus on 1 small body part like a finger, and start to move it, shortly after you will be fully back 'in phase' with the physical.
      The vibrations are only so disturbing during the split, once the energy body is clear of the physical they turn right down, like magnets which repell the closer you move them.

    • @LibertyRapsher

      @@escapevelocity8092 - Awesomely stated and I agree about the fear as a general rule, but I didn't explain it well as it pertained to me, since it's difficult to put into words... when it came to the fear component as it pertained to me, I wasn't tangibly afraid aside from the first couple times I had sleep paralysis (when it first happens it trips you out, because you essentially wake up in a paralyzed state). I had sleep paralysis so regularly (on average once a week for 20 years and beyond the first two times I figured it wasn't sinister). it was annoying (because I wanted to sleep and when it would happen I would have to pull myself out). There is an embedded fear that comes with sleep paralysis no matter how cool or comfortable you are with it (almost as if you are spiked with a fear drug in this state, perhaps it's to prevent people from astral projecting, I'm not sure? even Monroe describes it and finally he choose to ride it out and if he died as a result so be it. I assumed that I might die if I tried to ride it out, but that's not where the fear came from.
      Knowing what I know now, I have the incentive to ride it out because I know it will result in astral projection. From what I gather most people don't get the ringing during sleep paralysis, but if it wasn't for that I would have likely just done what Monroe did and ridden it out since it happened so regularly and i even just wanted to pretend I wasn't and go back into the "normal" sleep state. Perhaps the ringing is the reason why I had so many bouts of sleep paralysis, because that would always be the first thing that would alert me to being in a sleep paralysis state.
      This is just loose speculation but I wonder if the ringing in my case as well as what I believe to be embedded fear from external sources are measures taken to prevent us from leaving our bodies and astral projecting while we sleep? Or perhaps we unknowingly astral project every night, but go through a type of involuntary memory wipe when we exit out of or enter into it? And perhaps the sleep paralysis state bypasses that somehow? I don't know, but I believe strongly that the fear is something induced, because as I said, I was never afraid as it happened on average once a week for approximately 20 years. It sucks that it stopped, knowing what I know now. Hopefully it can happen again or hopefully I can figure out a way to trigger it.
      If you or anyone else astral projects from a sleep paralysis state and doesn't get what I believe to be an embedded fear from an external force, let me know?... I've found that most people including Monroe get the embedded fear even after they're familiar with the process and regularly enter into the astral state.

His goal of becoming an inspec in order to have a different "home" didn't play out. I am inclined to agree that if what he said is true, he likely chose to return here again - it's interesting though, lets assume this is all true about humans and what "home" is, that if we choose to live again as a human its a complete reset, you have zero knowledge or memory from a past life (I am also inclined to think that if you can come back, you also do not get a choice in what sort of life you have, otherwise everyone would be born into a rich family etc) - I wonder if that is by design on purpose, and that those experiences and memories from past lives only get returned to you once your time here in the physical world is finished.

    This is why I think social media is so dangerous for young ppl whose mind haven't fully developed yet, they can't seem to focus or concentrate on anything for more than 5 minutes at a time n I think I'm being generous by saying 5 minutes. I also think that's why I can't get into ticktock or Instagram or anything like those, they make me feel crazy cuz my mind would be "bouncing" around.

    Bob's extraordinary experiences would make for an interesting movie.

      These experiences are not extraordinary. They are ordinary, but we are conditioned to believe otherwise. So therefore our evolution is stunted. But yes, a trajectory of Mr. Monroe’s experiences would change the rheostat to extra perception.

    It has aspects of mental health that may be cured through doing the hemi synch programme. Good to see the man behind the very well recognisable voice.

    The ONLY other talk on TH-cam that's even half as interesting as this one is Richard P. Feynman's lecture titled "Los Alamos From Below".
