I was looking for another unknown YT performer a few years ago. and came across Nini in the process. Her rendition of The Sound of Silence gave me chills with the ancient Chinese instruments her and the other musician were playing. I listened to it over and over and over and shared it with others. I'm a big fan of Ni Ni and this is then first time I have seen this video and she was wonderful. The last instrument she played was of her own design and she built it. Her covers are amazing and she and a fellow Taiwanese musician performed a beautiful instrumental of Simon & Garfunkel's classic song "Bridge Over Troubled Waters".
My parents sent me a clip of her here saying I would like it, I surprised them when I said I already knew of her and I even donated to her I’m so happy she made it.
So...basically noone liked it until she took the traditional instrument like an electric guitar...and then when she started playing so fast...I feel so bad about this...why donc we appreciate pure good music anymore?

Not even in most fans Top 50 of his performances. Me.. I've not got it on my Top 100 Hua Chenyu Performances. NiNi is a window into what Asia is doing. They are not stuck in 16th Century C-Dramas. They ARE where music is now. Look East if you are fed up with the slutty Hip Hop, Rap our Western World is consumed by.
