      The short and long arms. Are the holes supposed to line up? The holes on mine don’t line up

    • @LifetimeProductsAssembly
      @LifetimeProductsAssembly  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ryankproductions7943 yes. The trick is to have someone lifting the base and the pole section of the system and maneuvering it round until you are able to line up the holes to the poles.

      Lifetime Product, I have a problem with this hoop, after more than 3 weeks after assembling, when I finally brought the hoop to 10 feet, it looked shorter and when I measured it, it showed 9.5 feet instead of 10. What can I do to fix this.

    Very good video. It was a big help. One question:
    I believe I installed everything correctly, including being careful to tighten screws and nuts correctly, so is it normal for there to a big fairly large wobble on the system when shots are being made. The backboard and pole seem solid, but the wobble appears to be from where the pole and the base are connected. Thank you for the guidance.

    You guys probably tolerances the hole for the shoulder bolt for step 4.1 before powder coating. I’m measuring a 12.53mm shoulder diameter and just under 12.50 to 12.52mm hole with calipers. This needs to get fixed.

    • @yi-leichow6339
      @yi-leichow6339 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      And actually now measuring at where the chamfer is for the lead-in from the bolt’s threads, it is 12.56mm. This is actually impossible to force through without a mechanical press or turning down the bolt. Can you send everyone who has this issue replacement bolts with tighter tolerances?

      You shouldn't need a replacement bolt. Just try using the bolt to ream out the excess powder coating in the hole.

    Please have your engineering team renegotiate the bolts threads... they are all very hard to turn... i even broke one of the screws... unreal... i spent 2 hrs sweating trying to put this together for my 7yr old bday, and now I have to return it to the store. And I thought I was buying a high end product. Terrible!

    Hello, i just bought one of these hoops(model 90271) and when i try to bend my backboard bracket it doesn't bend. Yet i haven't assembled it with the springs. Does anyone know whether it's something wrong with the item or just that it has to be assembled with the spring.

      It could be because the T-nuts are not tightened all the way and have become more loose. You will need to take the backboard apart and tighten the T-nuts. If that doesn't work, try reaching out to our customer service experts. They can be reached at 800-225-3865 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Well you need a mallet for the four posts that go behind the backboard...I had to whack them through after threading them... that's for sure and thank God for the video because the instructions are not clear at all ...they dont show closeuos disgrams and neither dirs this video...some close-ups on the washer nut steps, and hard to see what youre doing when filmed wurh such a wide angle ....more close-ups are much more useful on the intricate Parts... altogether it takes long but not that hard for someone with some handy skills.
    definitely not a build for someone with zero tool experience or any sense of rackets, wrench, power drill etc..
