Man I respect how your gonna help and teach this man.
I have to say I don't care a great deal for Richard Rawling but I DO respect him for being willing to help a guy out and I for one hope it works out for all parties concerned.
This was 7 years ago, if this shop owner didn't sober up and tasted reality of things by now then he never will.
Richard Rawlings did help a great deal but he is also a business man, he invests and this one is another one of such things.
Even if the shop owner failed with his business after all the help he got Richard Rawlings still made money back and made extra money on it.
Moral of the story is that Richard Rawlings indeed wants to help and he is deep down a good person when you take away some of his edginess but also don't believe that such people will casually go out of their way and help everyone and everything because sometimes that same person will have to think of it's own future and think of it's own life too. This impacts everyone. There are plenty of other factors involved with every scenario also life is short, time fly by fast and we barely manage things so even people with money can't do too much in some cases and later some entities even go beyond and blame him over something ...
Like that Grill drama, this place would not have the income that it had if it would not be boosted by Richard Rawlings. There are thousands upon thousands of other examples.
I think if was not for the cameras, Richard would have run. I would.
Richard isn’t going to lose out. It’s essentially his business now so if it doesn’t work out, he takes the lot, sells it or returns everything, or maybe even puts one of his guys in there to run it.
Question did he even pay his taxes for the shop.

I needed Richards help when I was given a trust fund and opened a body shop but had no clue how to run the business. I knew how to work and run the shop to be profitable, but I didn’t know the business end if things. After 6yrs I ended up folding because I didn’t have Richards knowledge. It wasn’t meant to be I suppose

Any of you in business? So he owed 11k and could not do it , now he owes 130k ish , what are the terms , percentage rate and length of payments , the 130k gets interest, so now its 200+k , man in the home garage the overhead was minimal, this guy is Digging a bottomless pit😲

Self taught! I know people have to start somewhere but honestly, I am a 23 year ASE master certified technician. And I'm still learning and I make mistakes. And not go into business with someone that's on his own with zero acceptable qualifications is risky!! Yep, made for TV for sure!
I buy myself in a 3 car stall with 3 lifts I do over 200k a year in business. And I do it all! From the books to bills to diag, to the repairs of cars and all all the shop upkeep.
Doesn’t matter how many cars this dude does. The spot is capable of generating a lot of business for the right owner.
None of that matters, a full revamp of the facilities, capabilities, and management means the customer base will be vastly different. What does matter is location, and competition.

what ? i lost a lawsuit and they didn't go any farther than that, no house lien or anything else. it doesn't even show up on my credit report as anything but a past due debt. if he is renting then it couldn't happen period.
