The priest was half right. Sometimes if 1 spouse "wins," the other spouse most definitely loses. Both lose, in effect, but the "winner" doesn't realize they lost too in the long run. That's where we were. :(
I can only wish that my wife can understand me when I'm having a bad day or a little bit depressed on something, or having bouts of anger. Its always that she takes it against me when I'm honestly pouring myself out, though angrily, that she can't read between the lines. Sometimes I'm hyped up that I can't help but talk in a high tone. I only need someone to listen to me so that I can simmer down. I don't want to lose my marriage. Please pray for me. God bless.
That attitude is just as it should be since two become one. What do you do if your spouse has a personality disorder and truly sees you, in their reality, as the enemy?
Pray for healing his eyes, healing his souls. Our enemies are those who we are afraid. Pray for him for courage and humility to face those fears. Main while work on yourself spiritually and physically to be supportive wife.
