Use the border patrol officers to do the job that they signed up to do. Don't supply them with transportation phones and other benefits they receive using our tax dollars. I'm sick and tired of this.

When I was that age, having a boyfriend meant talking on the phone and hanging out at school together, maybe the park. Sounds like Jocelyn was a very typical 12 year old. I’ve taken Victimology classes, and predators target children, because they are weaker, and often unsuspecting. Also, they have few experiences, so they are less likely to be prepared for the possibility of an attack, or be able to defend themselves. This has nothing to do with parenting, or Jocelyn’s behavior. If she had known how much danger she would be in, I’m sure she would not have gone outside. I snuck out, at 12, just to see if I would get away with it. My cousin was with me. Her big, deviant plan was to TP a yard. I didn’t want to do that, though. Some of the comments have been so victim-blaming! I’m not talking about this one, but others are shameful. This was those violent predators’ fault…no one else’s. May Jocelyn get justice, so her mother can know her soul is at peace! She is beside herself.

A kind lady saw me out at the Taco John’s, when I was a kid, and she drove me home. She worked there, and wanted to make sure I got home safe. We have to do this, because predators do it, too. A group of men offered to walk me to my car, once, as an adult, but I got a bad feeling. I found out they did that to someone who accepted, and robbed her. People probably say they will walk with kids and keep them safe, and do worse.
This was right across the street from my house and the suspects live in the same apartments I lived in 3 months ago. Fucking crazy and sad.

My heart goes out to the family, I know that pain because I had a brother killed in similar situation. I find interesting from FOX 26 when the commentators interrupting right before the Spanish speaking police started and resumed when then other policemen went back at the podium.
