It’s the not that she snuck out that’s the problem, that’s a parental convo and discipline. It that she shouldn’t be at risk even when sneaking out to loose her life. Let’s not blame the victim. Homes are not suppose to be prisons to keep you safe, the community has to be safe as well. Communities shouldn’t be allowing criminals to run around, illegals to run around, who are not vetted, that’s the point, to put people at risk. Plenty of parents even in the early 2000s didn’t have to helicopter their kids, and they were fine. Adults did their adult stuff and kids played, even at 12. Criminal stuff was be a select group typically towards other adults, not kids. When it was kids, it was pedo involved. How can anyone keep their city safe now days, anyone, literally anyone can come in.
Weeks ago my mom talked about how she didnt know how she was still alive because she would go out at night on her own. There are young women to this day, who want to escape outside to have fun and there will be more different girls making the same mistake next year. Parents must show this to their kids and educate them. Don’t tell your kids, show it to them.
Considering all that is going on, think women are going to have bigger problems than just walking around at night

The night store clerk at the 7-11 said the girl was a regular and he would often see her late at night at the store by herself.

Anyone who still questions why a woman would chose the bear vs man if she was alone in a forest isnt paying attention. This isn't just a migrant issue...it is a male issue. Where is the outrage from good men in our society? Where is their battlecry and new movement to join together in numbers and let perpetrators know that they will be dealt with by them?! This is just 1 of many many stories in the US right now. In other countries the perpetrator would not make it to the jail alive and they know it.
