In her young mind she probably that she is about to have fun, got an adrenaline rush from the thrill of sneaking out and had no idea she was going to her end.

How do they know it was a violent offender? Sounds like she left the house to meet someone. Bringing up the homeless encampment is discriminatory as hell. Did she leave the apartment to go there? Don’t think so. Being sneaky caused this girl her life and I feel bad for the mom. Hope they find the actual person that killed her and not pin it on the wrong person.

How it is discriminatory? Homeless encampments are statistically going to have more mental cases, predators, violent offenders, drug/alcohol use… if she was near one and went missing, they should certainly be concerned and bring it up as a possibility. I don’t know if this is accurate but I read that she spoke to her “boyfriend” that night and then snuck out. It wouldn’t be the first time a teenage boy killed his girlfriend. Her phone will likely shed some light. Or maybe someone she was talking to online and got lured out. Scary times. People really need to watch their kids and monitor online/phone use. Too many weirdos.

It is chilling to think that there are people out there that can do this to a child. I shudder the thought of what investigators are not sharing. Prayers for this family, that they may find strength through Christ Jesus, and to be able one day to turn this tragedy into a very needed discussion to teach our young 🙏
