- This is a demo of a vibrating fishing lure that I developed, known as Vibrolure.
Vibrolure plays a random sequence of vibration waveforms that mimic an injured fish. Predatory fish are attracted to these vibrations and will attack the lure mistaking it for prey.
Vibrolure is powered by a rechargeable battery with an estimated battery-life of 20 hours for this version.
This came up in my recommended feed! I'm a South African living in the US and am currently experimenting with using the popping method that works so well for Barbel on Flathead catfish here in Texas. I see you mention in some comments that you didn't make these commercially, but that was 7 years ago... has that maybe changed now? Very innovative lure! would love to be able to try one :)

this is awesome I'm from Umtata transkei and i use Umthatha dam and river to catch barbel, carp n eels.. you still don't sell?
Sorry, I still don't sell them. They workout too expensive to produce in small quantities and it takes too much time to assemble them by hand.
Came here searching if such lure exists because my own project is to have a small women’s bullet vibrator which I can tie into a soft lure 😂

Worsdier hi, that is really cool what you are doing! Im from Lithuania, just making time to time underwater fishing videos, and started to look for i lures, with batteries and i found your video. Want something totally new for my videos, modern. Would be very interesting to see how it works underwater - in real life :)

This lure was designed to be used for the following method of fishing known as barbel calling: th-cam.com/video/cmrPQw8QFD4/w-d-xo.html
The shape of this lure will not allow for casting and retrieving as it will just spin and tumble around when it's reeled in.
This design works very well for the purpose I designed it for, but I'll have to design a jerk-bait body for casting and retrieving. I'll keep you in mind when I design a lure that will be of use to you. Thanks for your compliments and interest in this lure, that's motivating me to continue the development.

This one cannot be retrieved like a normal crankbait, because it cannot swim. It's meant to be dangled vertically into the water.
I'll make a swimming version in the future that can be used for species like bass for example.
