Come on guys! you are being too harsh with her. I love DURR..he is the best! However, he sometimes needs to be edged on to give a definite answer. She saw that and as a good interviewer she did her job. Some of the questions she asked were excellent ones. She obviously knows what she is talking about and she was well prepared. I think she is a smart cookie and well informed. Keep chucking young lady, you are on the right track!
Beautiful interviewer, and asked a slew of all the right questions; I mean, that's what I would do if I had a genius infront me; pick their brain for some answers. It was perfect.
That's actually what I thought. And I also think that is what Durrr thought. A lot of the time these conversations are poor and you see the player being annoyed because of lack of knowledge/interactions / interesting questions. Didn't look anything like that!
You are so right, it is challenging to interview a person who is introverted, as this young man appears to be. She brought him out of his shell, to the best of any interviewer's ability, is my assessment. I would hire her in a minute, there is no limit to how far she can go in her professional field.
+Robert Bonter How did you know he is introverted - don't judge a person by their public media persona. He is probably tired, and has no business parroting his strategies to public nobodies.
she's trying to offer him broader questions because every time she asks him a simple question it seems like he's about to have a stroke from overthinking
lets not forget he got a lot of his money during "the big cash giveaway" period of poker, where Guy Laliberte was dropping 20 M a year and Gus was dropping 40 M. Those days are gone gone gone
9:23 "Like the average $5/$10 no limit player I don't think I'd be better than them" That makes me laugh. Playing for millions a pot now. Much respect for Dwan.
Why all the hate towards her? Bunch of permanent bachelors here don't know that women love to talk? Is this a surprise to you? lol Welcome to planet earth and our species.
I think she's doing a fine job. She's asking questions players want to know about. She also did another interview with him about strategy which was really good.
what i like about him is that he doesnt believe in that hard work strategy and reading books about poker and the mental aspect bullshit. He just goes out and plays and thats that All that other stuff will just confuse you about keeping a record of your past plays dwelling on water under the bridge and spilled milk wont make you money
+quality333 analyzing hand history is a pretty important step to take if you want to recognize long term bad habits. it can show you trends in your sessions and play style. other than that, I completely agree that reading books can only give you basic knowledge and experience is where the true advances come from.
discussing the cards the the flop etc how to play certain hands with certain cards in certain positions. they go over the best ways to win with that given hand in that situation
I think interviewers should be poker players themselves so they can understand the questions that the grinding poker player wants to know. This just seems like a bunch of random questions. Do an interview where the player gets into details about how they grinded from nothing or very little money to their current stakes.
what is he staring at in the beginning ? his eyeballs are allmost popping out of his head hes stretching them to the max! lol just kidin , i know....he always do it.... but its so strange!
"A lot of people are losing players." No shit? I thought the presence of a rake would mean that everyone who sat down at a session left with a win. While it's true that some games have one big loser, several breakevens and one big winner, it's a pretty easy generalization that about 50%+ of the field will lose in a cash game in the long term.
WHY is everyone dissing her she probably knew nothing about poker and just got offered a job as a presenter and took it, shes just doing her job and people calling her a bitch?? what the hell shes done nothing but ask poker questions why would that make anyone hate her? shes fukin cute i wish she were interviewing me right now.
My knowledge of poker has nothing to do with how entertaining to watch a player is. Great skill does not mean fun to watch, only that he wins more than he loses
Knowledge of poker has everything to do with watching Tom Dwan. He makes lot of money for a reason kiddo. He has great skill and great bluffing abilities... that is what poker is about. Read a book or something kiddo. Stay educated! :)
***** Why are you saying that?? He was talking about Tom AS A PERSON, not as a player. He even said that while dwan is a great player, he isn't fun to watch. Why are you acting as though the guy knows nothing about poker?? What a moron
He seems so overwhelmed, since she's doing most of the talking. Poor guy. She throws a thousand questions at him, answer half of one, then while he's trying to breath--she throws another twenty questions. Shit.
How can Tom never ever remember things exactly how they happen? How doesn't he know for sure how many final tables he did???? Is this just to come across as nonchalant or what?
Gosh it's annoying how she asks a question and asks another one as he starts answering the first one. LET HIM TALK if u wanna know what he got to say !
If I was at a casino playing cards and this guy bought in at my table I'd immediately get up and cash out. Ivey is the only other guy I'd say that about.
You just need to disagree with someone. I adore that young woman, She has an innate quality I look for in people, especially females, I call "Spark." She has a spark of life so many deadbeats in this world are utterly and painfully lacking. She has passion, soul, enthusiasm, whatever you want to call it. You want the really caustic, coarse, screaming bitches of the world, try CNN and leave me out of it.
"You just need to disagree with someone" yeah or you're so thirsty and lost in this chick you didnt even see she asked him like 5 questions in the first 40 seconds. Just look at 0:35 thats terrible! Feels like shes rushing it, like shes writing off a checklist. Just because this girl is your type doesnt mean shes not a bad interviewer
I’m sorry but how the fuck did he start playing online at 2NL and within 2 years time he was making stacks, im sat here trying to fucking grind 0.2NL man, and I want to make it big also. I’m jealous
A lot of guys are extremely negative about the interviewer's style asking questions. She asks some useful questions for viewers to gain applicable knowledge. She may be "interrupting" at times, but nothing major, and also gets some useful responses. Haters should chill and stfu. If you don't like it, don't watch. And many of you sound like mad MGTOWs that need to get laid.
I find it hard to believe he grinded 37 dollars up to a fortune playing online poker. Theres no way he won out enough on those measly stakes to keep it going upwards,, not one raise with a set vs a flush drawrer? And not 1 bad beat against some flush chaser?.. hes a liar big time,, if he did win money at it he must have kept depositing some of his wages etc, to get it topped up before the small wins came to boost the bank. Imo hes a bullshitter whos far too loose to win anyway, his style alone = trouble esp online.
If you don't want to talk about how you developed your strategy it's fine, but please don't tell us that crap about learning by commenting hands with your classmates.
if this is supposed to be a strategy segment then this company should probably focus more on hiring someone with better knowledge of the game and social skills rather than someone who they simply think is hot.
shy guy still can't work out how he gets its done these guys are obviously not going to reveal there secrets maybe its just a case of some people being winners or not loved the interview good effort kid
+john barker There are no secrets. All the good players know how to play. Bad players don't understand poker and talk about strategies, like the "super system" and whatnot.
Tom has a painfully bad personality and fair play to the interviewer, I think she recognised quickly that he isn't TV friendly, hence she kept talking and talking in an effort to keep things watchable
she keeps raising and 3 betting him with questions and he folds every time
never seen durrrr play so badly
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
He's just sitting there all loosey goosey eating a sandwich
actually he really is calling every bet and every bluff this is a call festival right here
hahahahaha
"So what was most helpful in improving your game?"
Tom "Being an uber genius and having a super high IQ"
2 words, Phil Hellmuth
Lizzy Harrison, thanks for all your solid interviews asking questions poker players would have liked to ask. 👍☺️
Come on guys! you are being too harsh with her. I love DURR..he is the best! However, he sometimes needs to be edged on to give a definite answer. Yeah but she's kinda pushy and Dwan seem to need time to formulate his answers
0:36 - 0:47 what is up there @Tom ?
His memories
Beautiful interviewer, and asked a slew of all the right questions; I mean, that's what I would do if I had a genius infront me; pick their brain for some answers. It was perfect.
she is actually asking nice questions
She's cute and they have a good chemistry. She also keeps the conversation rolling. She is good at what she does. I like her.
That's actually what I thought. And I also think that is what Durrr thought. A lot of the time these conversations are poor and you see the player being annoyed because of lack of knowledge/interactions / interesting questions. Didn't look anything like that!

She keeps cutting him off and he seems like a sensitive guy.
@@mwangikimani3970settle down..
Why does the presenter keep talking over him???
She needs to learn to stay quiet and let her subject keep talking
she's trying to offer him broader questions because every time she asks him a simple question it seems like he's about to have a stroke from overthinking
One of the few times he is honest and she cant stop herself
Yes her interrupting is annoying, but that's just due to nervousness. Otherwise, though, her questions are pretty incisive for the most part.
L
In the thumbnail, Dwan is saying, "And the sandwich was THIS big!"
Durrrr seems intimidated, haha. And I don’t know what his diet has been through the years, but it’s really taken a toll.
how do you put your opponent on a hand? what a dumb question
Her style of questioning is psychotic
Literally the moment Tom starts to answer, she fires another question
Tom is the best.
yup that is a crazy moment i cant wait to see more
so he only started out with 8 buyins?
lets not forget he got a lot of his money during "the big cash giveaway" period of poker, where Guy Laliberte was dropping 20 M a year and Gus was dropping 40 M. Those days are gone gone gone

SmokeRingsPipeDreams There are so many weak childish, so called men, on youtube that bash anything done by a woman.
blackelk7373
I guess so. Kinda sad.
Marco Estiercol I remember the 7th grade. Hows it goin for you? : )
Marco Estiercol lol sorry didn't mean to make you so mad bro. Go read your comment. It sounds like a child wrote it : )
what does he mean with "think about hands" "talk about hands" like there arent that many options can someone explain please
Salephone as in , think about your hands that you’ll be playing
i love the thumbnail of this video = mind blown
@MrDonses What's worse she looks away midway while he's answering a question.
It's this way so it appeals to all audiences.
lol @ 2:11 when she tells him that most people are losing players as though he had never considered that notion before in his life.
what i like about him is that he doesnt believe in that hard work strategy and reading books about poker and the mental aspect bullshit. He just goes out and plays and thats that All that other stuff will just confuse you about keeping a record of your past plays dwelling on water under the bridge and spilled milk wont make you money

what does he mean by "talkin hands"?
discussing the cards the the flop etc how to play certain hands with certain cards in certain positions. they go over the best ways to win with that given hand in that situation
+Will Starr thanks
It's very easy to groom your eyebrows and I strongly recommend it. Probably next best thing next to a good haircut and shaving.
Great questions
I dont get these comments... What's up with all of them?
Guess she liked the spot light
Tom won't say it, Vanessa Rousso spoke about a few strategies, check out her videos
He was stuck $860K and finished $50K up. That's like me being stuck $8.60 and finishing 50c up.
Go durrrr
Tom dwan ftw!
good questons but give the guy a chance to answer
good job !!
this was very helpful :) ty dwan

is a genius not awkard just they way he is.

Agreed !!!!!!!!!!!! Let him talk

tom dwan flipping burgers
Tom Dwan has very little social skills that I've noticed. Great poker player, but just isnt much fun to watch or listen to
That is what makes him so good at bluffing... hard to read. He is great fun to watch. You must know nothing about poker bud. XD
My knowledge of poker has nothing to do with how entertaining to watch a player is. Great skill does not mean fun to watch, only that he wins more than he loses

My statement still stands kiddo.
I wonder if she was super nervous. Maybe she just talks with people like this, and if this the case, she probably doesn't have many friends.
Love Dwan
He seems so overwhelmed, since she's doing most of the talking. Poor guy. She throws a thousand questions at him, answer half of one, then while he's trying to breath--she throws another twenty questions. Shit.

the cracked out version of sidney crosby

She obviously doesn't understand the concept of Q & A.
hes bluffing.
That's funny. To me he sounded uncomfortable and a little nervous.
If there was an easy way to make money, no one would make money.
FULL HOUSE
No one ever taught this girl how to smile?
New York Tom Cruise Wisconsin's one and only Constitution
He use to date the girl giving the interview. He broke up with her. I've seen pictures of one of his newest girlfriends, he's not gay.
making money is my kind of entertainment!
If I was at a casino playing cards and this guy bought in at my table I'd immediately get up and cash out. Ivey is the only other guy I'd say that about.
i tilt so hard its not even funny
+Dovahkrab Yeah, me too. Sometimes I tit so hard that it leaves a bruise.
Like mr.bean
So I'm not the only one who thought that?
He hardly ever makes eye contact with her?!!
She is much more socially poised than he is. He is a really "stiff" interviewee.

hey cardplayer next time she is interviewing someone mute her mic til the guest is DONE answering the question!
you can't learn poker strategy from Dwan! you only learn how to Durrr other players! XD

dwan is so cool id fkin like a few hours of poker coaching from him or just follow him around get inside he's head :P!
Man she interrupts him way too much
"How's is going," response: "Pretty good." (OMG, 12 minutes in hell interviewing this turkey.) lol.
like an annoying 8th grader interviewing a high 12th grader
