How to replace the ignition coil and ignition leads on a Ford Bantam ROCAM 1.3I

IN this video we will be replacing the ignition coil / coil pack and HT leads on my Ford Bantam 1.3i ROCAM.

One thing to be careful of when you remove battery terminals. Make sure you've got the restart code for any radio you might have fitted.

You are 100%correct. Luckily I had an aftermarket radio in this one, so it wasn't an issue.

Thanks for these videos... EC has a gap in having quality mechanics... Im lucky to be driving this beast. Recently it was mixing or on the genesis of it. The fortune part is that i saw in time, sad part i took it to the wrong hands that left milky reduce on the engine top cover.
2. Also struggling with the car losing power, and stalling, eventually stopped (cranks with no luck of starting). Im thinking of changing the coil pack and plugs myself

Coil pack and plugs is easy to do yourself. Just make sure you don't swop leads.

fiesta runs on a duratec motor with a cambelt. rocam is a rollerbearing camshaft as the name implies and runs on a camchain. Yes most of the non-OEM parts are no longer manufactured meaning you have to be careful when purchasing after market parts. epecially the ECT Switch as their ratings are totally incorrected on kilo ohms

Yes you should be ok with BOSCH aftermarket coil and ignition leads.

Yes. The Fuel pump sits inside the tank.

Goeie môre Jaco, net n vraag, het jy dalk al n probleem op jou bantam gekry dat hy sommer net misfire en daarna weer alles reg is, ek maak die plugs skoon dan loop sy weer soos n droom, ek het die ht leads, coilpack, cam sensor, crank sensor, fuel air valve en die fuel rail valve al vervang, kan dit dalk die computer self wees.

I have a bantam that won't start. Stood for a long time. Fuel pump fuse keeps blowing also. Think the fuel pump is faulty? I am no mechanic, just a guy trying to learn

Probably the fuel pump that is shot. Or maybe rats chowed on the wiring?
