- Dynamic seasons cycle after finishing the game + dynamic weather.
- More potions, spells, dynamic random events and activities.
- Enhanced NPC A.I and the ability to engage with them in different activities and events.
add to that infinite side activities mode. The dueling arenas, the dueling club, the summoner's court and the broom race.
And also, new mini games, new open world events and a companion system would be much appreciated.

Having friendships and romantic interests would definitely be a nice addition to have in a future update. It does get lonely just roaming through the hogwarts world a lot outside of quest. I know I’m not alone on this one

It would be interesting if there was a friendship system, something that allowed you to interact with the characters even after the quests. Just something to make the world less "lonely".

@@salva2387 considering this is (I think) they're first attempt at an actual AAA title, I think they did a wonderful job, sure there's stuff that should have been included but hopefully it'll get improved upon
@CyrissTheGiven ew no. The playerbase went to single digits in like a month, there is no replayablility, it's boring, it's woke and the story is like 5 hours long. I regret paying the collector edition or whatever the name was for the enhanced game. They spent all the money on the IP and developed a half baked game. The only cool thing is the School exploration but even that gets boring after 2 hours.
Let us sit in chairs outside of photo mode please.

Unfortunately there's not much of a change here for PS5 users, we've already done the extra quest. HL is a wonderful game, craving more new content DLC, expansion or game is highly anticipated.
Ok I was looking like I believe I did that quest about a month ago.
The game is nice but really light on the school/rpg/exploration elements. I hope they'll REAALLY work on those aspects in the sequel

Why not just NG+ instead of talent tree reset? Allow us to level beyond and have everything unlocked.
this is one game where ng + absolutely wont make sense other than having all the gear bcoz all the spells and talents are locked behind literally the quests and story so will make the whole story kina moot
@avikde9631 Im fine with resetting spells but keeping gear, challenge progress & being able to change your house. I started the game as a Slytherin & maybe going Hufflepuff so I can see Azkaban without completely resetting my progress would be fun

I think a good idea for a dlc can be a contest between the other wizarding schools.
And the champions of All houses go after it as friends on a great adventure to learn from each other.All schools to visit,more specific villians,more secrets etc.
They do everything they can with marketing to make this update feel like it’s worth it💀

It's free true, but this is all ps5 exclusive... they literally lets ps5 have the exclusive forst because they made an agreement from ps5 (so ps5 can sell more ofc.) Now 1 year up the contract they are simply just copy and pasting making it feel like a very cool upgrade for all other console when its just a copy and paste.... lmao, hopefully, the next hogwarts legacy is either part 2n or an actual Harry Potter game. You can attend class, play sports, get grades, attend events, talk to everyone, develop relationships and friendships and also with teachers literally stardewvalley and Harry Potter had a baby with a bit of GTA sparkle on to it.

New game plus and new dlc would be nice but I'm sure they want us to always make a new character in each house and start fresh. But still some things should carry over if you beat the game 🙄

My Ps5 update going crazy, everytime i played, game just crash🤦♂️
Ideas for (minor) updates, mostly QOL or post-game:
• For PC, allow us to keybind Broom Mounting to a single-press key like "B", rather than having to simultaneously hold open the item wheel AND THEN select broom. I've wasted so many potions/cabbages just trying to hop on mounts since they're all in the same item wheel submenu.
• Fixing the Map glitch that shows the Hogwarts Bell Tower missing 1 field guide page even though all are collected + achievement pops
• Toggle option on map so you can see previous Butterfly Trails / Merlin Trials / etc that you've cleared (greyed out). Makes the final cleanup of collectibles easier by process of elimination. Or just keep tabs on the Butterflies since they're currently unmarked
• Changeable seasons post-game in a similar manner to how we can change the Room of Requirement's ambience. The festive Autumn and Wintertime decorations in the castle will make busywork like Demiguise and Revelio page hunting more lively
• Allow broom flying in Hogsmeade. Purely for convenience when on the move. I'm sure there's a lore reason why we can't.
• Being able to recruit previously available quest companions like Nat, Amit, and Poppy (and perhaps even Officer Singer?) to follow you around post-game. They won't need new dialogue or anything. Just have them follow you on foot / fast travel /fight alongside you as you clear out treasure caves, merlin trials, and bandit camps. Restrict following for loadscreen-partitioned areas like dungeons and room of req
I think the issue the game doesn't have any endless mode. The feeling of being done sucks. Aside from some finishing camps, caves, and Merlin trials, nothing to do really,
For PC users - We're still crashing when using Raytracing and Frame Generation. Please fix it, thank you

The thing that bothers me is that it came out *so late!* I've already completed 3 runs and I have my 4th still going only because I intentionally stopped playing to give priorities to other things and to drag"Hogwarts Legacy"as long as possibile,but 1)if I played at a"normal speed"I would have had finished the whole game 4 times by a long time now and 2)I wanted to play this mission first with my very 1st character,which means I now have to play this mission with a character of a game I have already finished before using the one of the game I'm currently still playing. This is _riddikulus._ ;-(
@@Nicamonit didn’t come out late. It was a PlayStation exclusive. Which means they had a contract with Sony for 1 year that it was only to be released on that platform.

Guys this is really not it. A photo mode? Really?
Like many of us in the comments have said, please give us something like
- duelling clubs
- dynamic weather/seasons
- better NPC AI. It feels dull and not so lively after a couple of hours into the game.
- Curfew with an in game clock. This would be absolutely fun to sneak around the castle at night, with prefects and teachers patrolling. This is practically there in some missions and can be easily implemented. Please. And for those who wish to avoid this can go to the common room and sleep so that it becomes morning.
Actually there is an option controlled day and night cycle. Just go on map menu press the button that says wait and boom, it’s night, sunset, morning or afternoon. You probably got to press it again to get the specific time settings you want.
Unfortunately, if you want all of that you'll have to switch to PC and mod. Literally everything you listed are already mods and have been for months. Why they won't do it themselves is beyond me.
@@jase276 I've seen the PC mods and I really wish the Devs would include it in the game. Though it looks unlikely, I just hope hogwarts legacy 2 has a bunch of new features and things to do in the game
Hey, just FYI, the update totally broke ray tracing mode. If I cast ANY spell, the game crashes now.
Even with out ray tracing on it still crashes smh
photo mode feature is called brand new photo mode
Just crashes on PS5 now. Casting revelio or interacting with anything other than chests immediately dumps the game and sends an error report.

You still haven't fixed the A and B casting bug on the Switch release. Do you not read the bug reports that you ask us to file.
this update was available to me yesterday, loved the haunted hogsmead quest, was good seeing the voice of Cullen from dragon age again. One of my favourite quests in the game.
One thing I'd really appreciate would be a more creative Alchemy System. I remember that the PS2 Harry Potter game had one alchemy mini game that really carried the tone of the Alchemy part of harry potter. It can't be just button smashing and menu selecting. No, alchemy in HP is an art.

How will the Denuvo DRM, which is known for causing stuttering issues and lower framerates, be addressed? Will it be removed in the future? It's frustrating to pay for a game and end up with an inferior version due to performance problems.

I just did the haunted shop yesterday and man that was fun I love the new broom but I can't pole out the obsidian Hippograph and the Azkaban outfit made my character look like sinus black while riding highwing

At least unlocking seasons after finishing main quests would be great. Especially since there's mods for PC that got the job done

Considering how this relatively small update is 53GB, I imagine it takes a lot of time and effort to produce just one DLC. We know the studio cares bout their fanbase so we'll just have to be patient!
Id say its more inefficient than anything else. They also added some ray tracing stuff so that might why its so bulky for what is a relatively small update feature wish.
The only thing I got from this is talent tree reset which is absolutely needed
After updating my game I don't have access to the Minding Your Own Business quest in Hogsmeade, or the new cosmetics either. Everyone keeps saying "Complete the Fire & Vice quests and Rockwood's trial first" which I already completed months back. I only have the "House Cup" quest left but from what I'm hearing that's not important. Penny the house elf doesn't show up in Hogsmeade for me, and I don't have the new cosmetics in my gear tab. Is this a bug?

Nope, you basically saw it all. Just as they announced beforehand! No DLC but smaller function updates and otherwise a future Howards Legacy 2.
Finally a photo mode! It would be great to have more character customization like makeup or more hairstyles!

Sorry folks we wont be getting DLC. Warner bros hate this game it's their biggest single player success and all they want is for us to play suicide squad and buy the battle passes. If they could they would delist and remove this game from our libraries. We're only getting some small free update because the dev studio cares about this game - but they ain't callin the shots. I wish our shareholder capitalist system was different too...

It's as small studio and their workforce is concentrated at making Howards Legacy 2 and they did say months ago what this update would and WOULDN'T be. No DLC and small function updates.

Turn off Fidelity + ray tracing, choose something else like Performance mode and you shouldnt have any problems

A normal day system with a schedule, optional but just cutscenes similar to the first day, if a player wants to role play a bit. Object interactions would be great to, sitting down, sleeping, taking a bath, brushing your teeth, eating, etc.

It's been running fine on my PC since release, so maybe the problem is on your end.
It even runs well on Steam Deck. He must be playing it on a potato.
3070 ti machine and I have an SSD. This is a well documented issue with people experiencing extreme stuttering even with 4090s. 🤡

Heck no, although I recently got the game on March of this year and I haven’t finished it yet. I’m still going to get the update though. I’m crossing my fingers that it doesn’t crash my Nintendo switch.
No, they were mot because they especially DID say that there would NOT be big updates but only small function updates + the platform exclusive stuff getting non-exclusive. And they said there'll be Howards Legacy 2.
The communication was clear. It is OK to be sad about the choices but it's not OK to imply like they set wrong expectations when they actually stepped up to address rumors and misconceptions in regards to player's expectations. 🤦🏻♀️

Did anyone else see a bit of screen tearing in the castle when playing on PS5? Wondering if they fixed it? Might play it again.
The photo mode would be cool if you could make Live Photos to match how they are in the film when you see portraits and newspaper articles move.
No new game plus, no option to change seasons, no option to sit in like the great hall, no option to dine with your classmates, no option to sleep in your own bed. Did you guys even listen to what the customera that bought the game requested for the last 14 months ?
It does not do to dwell on DLC, and forget to live” out the Legacy we’ve currently been given the privilege of doing at Hogwarts. A sequel will be well worth the wait. Thank you Warner Bros./avalanche for the updates.
