You should get it on Steam of you get the chance. The game is relatively populated and the online runs great even with bad ping. If anyone wants to add me and play I'm Chambs
I love this series because every hit counts and power moves are not that vital to have control over the opponent, it can look slower compared to other stuff but the stakes behind every hit are much higher.
About the Yoshitora 7th sword: You can roll through the energy wave and punish him. The timing is strict, and relies on the individual character's forward roll frames, but it is doable, at least with some mobile characters like Hanzo. Just be sure to time it right.
Also, jumping in on Kyoshiro in neutral should not be viable. He can easily reaction anti-air a ton of stuff with d+HSlash.
Surprising trivia: Kyoshiro's standing heavy slash is both faster and more damaging than Haohmaru's standing heavy slash. I'd say it is one of the better ones in the game.
Where the hell were all these people for SSV back in the OG Fair days? Love to see people finally playing this game at a high level.
I respect Daiandoh a lot for that match, Dude straight up recognized he didn't play his greatest and had a cool head even in defeat. I like him.

Aroo is definitly the god tier of the tournament, he can play kusaregedo, yoshi and genjuro and he is still the best! very great player, high skill👍
I know the video is 5 years old at this point. But I've playing the game for two months now and I love this tournament. The fightcade stuff is great, but it lacks commentary
This is really Best shodown Samurai ever.. Compared to New one more moves that includes fatalities and other brutal finishs and better blocks with plenty of characters. Only graphics are less better. But no many people plays in Ranked Match.. You often cannot find anyone to challange
This game is so badass, but I definitely get why they dialed back the systems in 7!
Why? To attract people who can't cope with learning things? Good example: it drives me nuts when supers all use the same motion. I wish the new game was still like SS2 in that regard.

I know this is late in coming, but "fighting" doesn't have to be simplistic. Real swordsmanship certainly isn't. And the high-damage single well-timed shot aspect of the game is still the focus in SSV and SSVS. Moreso than 4, I think. It just has more options and depth. It reminds me of SS2. That's a high compliment.
The sword gauge system is too perfect for the flow of samsho. While its not traditionally the coolest for fighting games it really fits this game series and i kinda wish the new one had it too
I don’t care for Sword Gauge too much, but Meditate/State of Nothingness is so cool.

She was overly projectile heavy in SSV. Apparently, it was way too hard to get to her. She plays differently in SS7 though (easier than typing SS2019).
