With the release of the new Samurai Showdown game in June. We'll be seeing more tournaments in the future.
I like the little detail of how Charlotte doesn't really get red (more a very lite pink) when she's in rage, which is a cool way of showing that even when she's angry, she maintains her poise.

I literally started playing and Charlotte is my main. I love how much fun she is to play.

It seems like a though game to learn, ive tried samurai shodown before, always liked how the game looks, how it sounds but the gameplay man..it was hard to learn. And now that a new game comes i know im gonna play it even if im a total and complete noob at it.
Get yourself a copy of MAME, the NeoGeo BIOS, and some Samurai Shodown ROMs. I recommend II, V, and V Special. You may want to lower the difficulty level (which defaults to four, out of eight levels), and I will tell you how to do so if you are interested. If you can stand to wait, then look for the Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and Steam this fall (from the developer of the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, it will contain Samurai Shodown I, II, III, IV, V, and V Special with online play for each game).
It's honestly surprisingly simple, there's basically no combos and most people play more than one character.
Once you get a hang of the system you're good to go.

Is this game better than Samurai Shodown 2? I want to get either 2, this or 6 on PS4 and am leaning towards 2, but that I can always get and play on Fight cade, plus number 6 people say sucks, so don't want to waste money.
2 and V Special are both arguably the best
SS2, SS4, and SS5SP are considered the "top tier" of SS games. Personally tho i love SS3 even tho it's clearly busted and broken. Don't touch SS6, it's trash.

SamSho 6 has all blood and gore removed, which is a shame since the big selling point of SamSho is being able to cut people in half
Missing blood and gore, lame stages, lame music, none of the "soul" or atmosphere of the older games, and it's just a thrown together mess when it comes to the mechanics and gameplay. It just feels like a cheap knockoff of the SamSho series honestly.

Hopefully they will make a new one or a remake of SamSho 4.
It's necessary to redesign the whole system... a mere SS4 (or any other) remake won't do it. The series had its appeal mainly because it was experimental and tried to do interesting things during the infancy of the fighting game development era. But now that's not enough.

Why isn't anyone using their specials? And I would also like to add this game is awsome but there is no point to where your opponent is hurt and at a standstill for you to take advantage

Drunken Vision samsho players are all different some prefer the bust and slash of iv even the combo system. 5sp is pretty good game with 50/50s
I think only SSVSP is better, not regular SSV
