Setup Thermal POS Receipt Printer Using Ethernet with IP Address

This video is about setting up Thermal POS Receipt Printers using Ethernet Cable with your Cashier / Point of Sale system. If you have multiple POS printers or just want to use Thermal Receipt Printer using Ethernet cable instead of USB cable, then you can do this after watching this tutorial.

Thank youu brooo. Ty printer didnt have its default gateway in it. had to get it from cmd ipconfig. Nonetheless great video!!!

I tried doing this method and, at first it worked since the computer recognized the printer. However, when I connected the printer to a modem through ETHERNET conexion, so I could use an iPad or iPhone to manage it through an app (Loyverse), the conexion failed. There was no communication between both printer and iPhone. I tried to start all over and the printers' original ip changed somehow. Is there any way you could help a brother out? I know is confusing, but I would appreciate the gesture. Greeting from Mexico!

Thank you. Without this video I wouldn't have known that the IP of the printer was set to Static. With your video, I was able to connect the printer to the PC and then, re-configure it as DHCP client. Then I can connect the printer to the router. Do you know if this printer work with Square Register?. thanks again. very helpfull video.
