This is "Tennis the board game". It really feels like Tennis - the back and forth, the sgots close to the lines... I love it. However: liking tennis - either watching or playing is a requirement to being able to enjoy the game. Top3 dexterity game for me.

On my favorite games and dexterity games ever! So much fun with two and can be VERY fast and tense 😍

I love this game but I agree that it really shines best when players are both good at the game. When you have those 3 minute+ rallies back and forth with the tug-of-war style track going back and forth can be so tense. It’s a great game for the right audience.

Great perspective on this overlooked game. I was happy I could get my older brother who enjoys playing and watching tennis to play this with me, which was a lot of fun. Playing it with someone else who is not into tennis was vastly different experience, who found it to be repetitive and boring. The enthusiasm of the players for Tennis will probably determine the enjoyment of the game.

We have the XL playmat version of the game. We somehow apply just the tennis rules, rather than all the special game rules. We do like the game and I agree with your definition of FUN.
Ultimately we consider it a FUN FLICKING TENNIS GAME.
Definitively worthwhile giving it a try.

All I wanna know is what that big box board game that’s behind him that says Dark Ages.

Maybe board could be bigger and the ball or token could move a bit more smoothly. This would add more skill.
    Not bad though.

$40 on Amazon, ouch! Reminds me of tabletop football, was expecting closer to $20.

No Grass or Hard court variant? Great review as always.

Great game idea but I could just play this with a pen, pad and a coin, and save valuable storage space.

The simple rules look fun with the tug of war for points, but the board is a little plain. I think it would have looked better with a green background with maybe some spectators on benches around the outside.

Looks like a decent idea held back by the decision to include as many real tennis rules as possible.

After playing this one a TOOOON with my Lil bro I can tell you that any extra tennis rule is SUPER easy and it brings some cool things and decision to your flicks. We play super fast while playing with these rules, for a nice smooth flow like tennis!

Really, who don't know tennis rules today? If so try out real tennis, you need it
