Japan is so versatile when it comes to music taste just like america/UK in 90's and 2000's...that's why you can hear so many genres still alive there like Metal,Punk,Rock,RnB etc² while in korea, I found so many underground band that has amazing talent but they're just overshadow by japanese or american sounds,they can't find they're original sounds yet..it always gotta be japan and american sound,but the only thing they can do now is equip themselves with good looks to attract people's attention that's all

While K-pop is the mainstream in South Korea, various genres of music are favoured in Japan. Rock is one of them, with J-Pop, J-Metal, R&B, Hip Hop, Alternative, City Pop, even genres that are difficult to classify, each of which has its own following and more than a certain number of fans. It is interesting to note that although we are neighbouring countries, the national styles are quite different😉

​@@SOCETY Kpop really has a western sound and it's so terrible not all of them but majority songs from kpop is trash, there is no original sound that sounds like Japanese music..if you know how many Japanese artists have inspired so many bands in Southeast Asia and America, you will respect your country's artists..artist like L'arc and ciel,Hi standard,X japan,One ok rock,Scandal,Hey smith,Wanima,Ado etc²
