He normally speaks in Kazakh. He also is fluent in Russian. (Kazakhstan being a former Soviet Republic). But he sang (phonetically) in Chinese, French and English for this competition. He was singing in English for this song. He just did not get some of the pronunciation right. He came in 3rd for this performance. But told his fellow competitors that he didn't deserve that high ranking. (He thought he could do better). He sings in 12 languages. "Sos" was in French, "Olympico" in Italian. His Italian is noted for being spot on. Since 2017, he has vastly improved his English and Chinese skills. He really has improved in all his non-native languages. Thank for your reactions. His first and only concert in USA was this past December in NY. He’s not very known here in USA but still had full stadium with 19,000 people from different countries... best concert I’ve ever been!! Hope he comes back soon.
I am jealous, but happy for you. I wanted to go, but my schedule didn't allow....well that and the 6000 miles from Hawaii to the east coast. That's not an excuse though because I've flown all that way a few times. All the people that I've seen comment on that concert say it was incredible. Seeing him, even if I have to go to Russia or Kazakhstan to do so, has moved to the top of my bucket list

A concert is a lifetime experience. He has signed a contract with IPZ to promote him in the USA so I think he will have more concerts in the US in future.

Dimash is bilingual Russian/Kazakh like all Kazakhs.
Kazakistan is his where he's from I believe they have their own language, it's very close to Russian..
No Kazakh language is a Turk language and more close to Turkish 😉
