These are the questions we had before trying this experience. We are taking the mv 2go Maligaya ship from Manila to Cebu, in a business class room. Some translation for the drill announcement in the ferry 😁

The last one is not in tagalog dialect anymore, the dialect you hear spoken in Metro Manila. Rather, it's bisaya. It's the dialect used in Cebu and other parts of Visayas and Mindanao. Philippines is made of 3 major islands: Luzon (that's where Manila is), Visayas (where Cebu and the famous long stretch of white beach-Boracay island are in) and Mindanao (where the surfing capital Siargao and the Philipine Eagle Centre Davao city are in). I'm sure you've read about this already. Hehehehe! Just so happy to see you both cruising to Cebu! Glad you feel safe in the ferry.

You can also go east Leyte Biliran and Samar islands after cebu. Start with Palompon, Leyte 2hr boatride from Cebu via Oceanjet and stay at Square view hotel.

Im from Samar and as islander filipino thats how i (we) travel here in Philippine islands. I travel by tricycle, jeep, bus, taxi, àirplane, boat and even bike (habal-habal). I like that way and as I travel stress is gone. Hope u enjoy your journey. Keep safe in the Philippines.

I tried that ferry ride from Manila to Cebu like a decade ago. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and I really recommend it to people not in a hurry to get to their destination and just want to relax on the way. Looks like they have brand new ferries now, and they look great as well. Glad to see you two enjoyed the journey. I really enjoyed watching this video.

If you like whales then you guys came to the right place, Cebu has plenty of them, go to Oslob Cebu, there are also the beautiful Tumalog Waterfalls 10 minutes away from there where the whale sharks site hang out.

The waters are calm when between islands, as long as there are no storms. The open ocean may rock the boat. Dan, cut that crazy hair.😂 The ferry gave you a free hotel night with meals. I guess you paid for it, but a flight would require you to book a hotel.

Hello Dan and Lyn! I wanna know how effective is Uniqlo extra warm heattech innerwear? I'm such a cold magnet and so I easily feel so cold so when you mentioned of the Uniqlo's heattech, I go so happy because now I can ask from an actual user. What temperature was your room when you used it and were you warmed or you still feel a little cold using it? Did you layer on another shirt jacket or it was enough to protect you from the cold AC? I hope you notice my question. 🙏
Hello Distance Go! Haha I didn't think I would have a question about Uniqlo clothes 😄 We closed the AC because it was too cold lol. But the strong AC from outside the room could still come inside. I guess it was around a little bit above 20 degree. We didn't have blanket so I used the heat tech haha. I had the extra warm legging with one thin pants. (We had only hot weather clothes, so all our clothes are extra thin lol) and for the top, i had a normal heat tech long sleeve shirt, plus one shirt and one thin jacket (Uniqlo airism actually 🤣). It was still a little cold but it was okay, I could sleep. Without the heat tech I would definitely be way colder. I think it's a great items, it's light and can really help to keep your warm (it's like I am promoting the products 🤣)

That's how it can make you warm but I don't wanna feel roasted. 🤣 Every time I consider buying, I don't continue because I don't really know how effective it is. Now, I'm already sure. Winter jackets even from known brands aren't effective as well or maybe I'm just that cold magnet. 😕 Anyhow, big thanks to you again! 🤩

I guess you missed to see the beautiful luxury Hotels around the island of Mactan,Cebu before arriving the port of Cebu.

Yeah, like the green one in big pouch seems so sour. I'm not sure if that's the one I have tried and found it so sour. It's nice that they're living like Pinoys/Filipinos instead of buying usual chips we also buy when we travel outside the Philippines.
