- This bus journey in the Philippines was intense. I go to the Cebu South bus terminal to catch a bus to Dumaguete, Philippines. I show the process of buying a ticket (cost 4 USD) and how to navigate around the station. I show which bus we ride on to get to Dumaguete. It was a 7 hour total intense bus journey and the road was a single lane windy road and the ride was super bumpy. I felt nervous because the bus driver was driving super fast along the sharp turns and I felt like at any moment the bus could flip over. At some point the bus had to board a ferry to cross over some water, which I found very cool; getting on this huge boat which eventually took us to the island which Dumaguete is on. I met some cool people on the intense journey and luckily we made it safely. This bus journey in the Philippines was very intense.

We Filipinos also call those ferries "RORO" short for Roll On Roll Offs.

I really enjoy these types of vlogs as they provide real value. I like not only knowing what it takes to get from one location to another, but also what various points actually look like, i.e., the bus station, the port, etc. These things I find are most helpful. I don't need to see pictures/video of the vast ocean or some mountain in the distance, as that tells me nothing about what it takes to get me to where I want to be.
Is there not a ferry from Cebu directly to Dumaguete, or is it that it would take much longer to travel by ferry so the bus/ferry route is the quicker option?

Im glad I an provide some value, thats exactly why i make these videos. There is a ferry but it takes much longer and it runs very infrequently from what I was told.
There is a ferry there from oslob to dumaguete, only 20 minutes by ferry.

ayeee this my moms home town bro. u gotta try the silvanas and the sans rivals fr. u can maybe try goin to (if u have the time) a couple of nice ass waterfalls, apo island, and the bais sandbar (theres also whaleshark and dolphin watching afaik but i forgot where lol).
6-7 hours 329 pesos only. in manila. manila to bagiuo almost a 1thousand

That road from Cebu to Duma is the highway from hell. It's like I81 in PA, always under constructions by no one working.

If you think that’s bad try the hi-way AH26 in Leyte from Tacloban to Calbayog. It’s truly an experience, makes the Cebu to Duma look tame 😂

Don’t leave ur bag inside the bus then u go out…always carry it with u specially the content is important…u should go to Bohol only by Ferry from Cebu….
19:40 those snacks are too expensive..shame on these vendors..50 pesos for two Curls and a small soda...those junk foods only cost 9 pesos each max ....and the soda is only 12 pesos
