I love these kinds of 'deceptively easy' classics, where the simple and repetitive chords allow advancing beginners to double-down on the strumming patters, dynamics etc. (apparently there's another similar 90s indie classic with 16th-note strumming, I forget its name but often overheard in guitar stores apparently? 😉)

I use Aadd9 (like full bar chord but only fret low E with index finger) instead of Asus2. It has the 3rd so it sounds fuller, to my ears...
