Not as much footages as OK Computer songs played live, sadly. Since 2012, I've only found this version (before being remastered to HD), Pinkpop 1996, Jools Holland 1995, Glastonbury 1997, and the Metro Chicago 1996 too if I'm not mistaken
When I met Thom and the band in Cleveland before their show at a gloriously intimate venue there on THE BENDS tour and mentioned that his plaintive, emotional voice reminded me SO much of that of David Gates (Bread), he claimed to not know of whom I spoke, but I’m not sure I believe him!..
I saw them with my son 14 years old in Ventura Theater for no more than 2K people, last time I saw them was in Austin with my son, now 24 with 15,000 more in the audience!!! CTE what a cool group!
This version is my first experience of this song. Absolutely brilliant. Just captivated and drawn in. Brings up so many emotions. What a gift to share. I checked out the original and I'm grateful for it. This one is my favourite ❤
This recorded at 1995? Oh my gosh the quality of video it's Awesome obviously this guy who recorded this came from outer space indeed thats a fact... xx
I loved this classic when it first realised, and now in 2024 I've just learnt how to play it on an acoustic. Beer can make you forget what you bought a guitar for!!!
Sometimes I trick myself into fully believing that there are certain people that are assigned to us to give soundtracks or other kinds of art commentary to our lives. It freaks me out to the point where I'm scared to listen or look because it means I attribute a kind of importance to the lyrics/music/art, as if the art is a crystal ball and I'm scrying in a way that meddles with forces I have no business in. This often makes me wait a bit before engaging because I believe it will have been better to use the art as a substrate for cathartic exegesis. There's always a little regret mixed in. Radiohead has been that for me in more ways thsn any other artist or group. The Smile's second album is waiting behind the curtain for me even though it's been out for a while now. Cheers, Yorke,Greenwood, Greenwood, Selway, O'Brien, and you too, Godrich.
I watched a few Radiohead videos when MTV was new. That’s been awhile ago. I just lately watched them play the Astoria concert in 1994-I think-love it and the Bends album.
*Two jumps in a week I bet you think that's pretty clever, don't you, boy? Oh wow this is even better than the “official” version in my opinion. Simply because the fact that Thom was so in himself so awkward so not mainstream there
i think this is happening because under 2010's or early 2000's, autotune technology not advance like now, so... many past artist more effort for train they voice to approach perfection.
Everything here is so great, the camera work, sound...even if someone says otherwise, it's just amazing! I wish "Bones" from this session was available in video too❤

Incredible how the editor kept switching camera angles during the guitar solo and still couldn’t find Jonny
This. 😂
Conspiracy theory!😂
Jonny, the "h" is stolen by Thom

The Bends was when I fell in love with Radiohead. Still as fresh today as it was all those years ago.
That's the month I saw them live for the first time. Tom Yorke's voice was completely angelic at the time! Great upload.
you were completely angelic at the time
Saw Thom live on Tuesday, voice is still quite angelic!
FULL SESSION PLEASE!!!

First Radiohead song I ever listened to. Made me fall in love with the band and got me through teenage years.

Any new version of High and Dry I discover drives me crazy. Now I'll listen at least 100 times.

Pretty impressive to have two full guitar solos with 3 seconds of footage at the very end.

Um dos melhores show do Deftones na minha opniao. Há outros tão bons como, mas presença de palco e interação com o público é sensacional”

I‘m 43 and I was 15 then..😅

You will be the one who cannot talk
All your insides fall to pieces

When you think you've got the world all sussed out
They're the ones who'll spit at you

The camera didn´t take Johnny as many times as the others, maybe the studio didn´t like him. Johnny is the brain of the band along with Tom.
