In Rainbows just another truly great Radiohead albums that’s on par with OK computer, Amnesiac, Kid A and why not throw Hail to the thief and the Bends while we at it lol
Holy Tasmanian! No surprises another great lesson that has me climbing up the walls in awe. Lucky for us you are always on a roll. Never a let down Justin!
I mean...I started by smiling uncontrollably, then I caught myself hearing the psychotic electric guitar parts in my head, them I hummed the back vocals overlay, to finally imagine you dropping the mic at 4:23. Wow! What-A-Cover! I'm just not worthy...but thanks again for all your work...
That was outfreakin standing! I failed at first approach, but I'm managing to get through it a few months later. It took me over a month to get through the first riffs, my little finger got quite a callous, at moments I thought it was impossible, but I persisted. Thanks a lot Justin, you're the best. Please give more Radiohead stuff!
Dude, I really thank you from the deepest bottom of my heart! It is insane how music can make us feel related with one another.. I've been following your videos since I first grabbed my guitar half a life ago and I still relish watching you aged 32! Your being so inspirational to all those who want to pick up how to play this song, which I admit is a wee bit tough sometimes, is pure gold! Greetings from Italy 😊
Bravo, Justin! You've always been an amazing teacher and guitarist. To watch you develop as a vocalist is incredible. From one educator to another it is fantastic to see you demonstrate such a growth mindset. I cannot imagine the levels of courage you have shown to share this with such a wide audience. Thank you for also posting this lesson. I have been wanting to learn this for years. Appreciate everything you do.
For the last few years, I have been trying (and failing spectacularly) to learn this song, even at the most basic level. In the space of two days, I have made more progress using this video than with any other Paranoid Android tutorial. Thank you so much Justin, you rock!!!!
WOW!! You killed it man!! What an amazing version of this incredible tune! maybe the best cover i have ever seen of this! by the end of the song i was standing up with both fists up in the air lol!! Bravo and Thank you so much!!!
This was the first time I've ever understood the lyrics to this song. Definitely my favorite song to play. This song, any Dave Matthews, and Plateau (Meat Puppets) are the most fun for me. I never even considered trying to sing and play this song together. Great video! Totally helped me clean it up and now I can sing it and play it, thank you for that.
Amazing cover and awesome tutorial!! I’d love to see more Radiohead! Also, I know it takes quite a lot of effort to figure them out but I’d love to see some more Elliott Smith tunes sometime soon!

Hi Justin. Just wanted to drop you a message to share, like many others, I have been really enjoying your recent spate of wonderful covers. I have been a subscriber since 2011, and have since stopped playing the guitar (moved to the piano) but kept my subscription just for your covers and it's such a pleasure to see how you've grown into that voice of yours, or how it has grown into you ;) Really brilliant, and looking forward to what else you're going to come up with!
Song has a reputation as the Mount Everest of guitar, but that's not right. It's more like K2 - The Savage Mountain of guitar. More technically difficult than Everest, and a much higher failure ratio. I first started messing around Paranoid Android it years ago, and I haven't even made it to base camp yet. I'm writing this comment instead of climbing because I'm so scared of it. Justin simply kills it here - without bottled oxygen, lol.... Tom York is one of the most under-rated, underappreciated guitarists of all time. Probably because he's also one of the greatest composers of all time, and a great keyboardist and singer. Very few musicians rise to that level - or can even cover him. Well done Justin. Well done indeed!
It's really quite doable for your audience--nothing out of the ordinary (unlike some Dave Matthews songs, which can take a month to master one five-fret chord). And a truly beautiful composition. I bought a bunch of tee shirts and sweatshirts for compensation!
Great lesson if you are interested in doing another challenging Radiohead song to perform then I would suggest Jigsaw Falling Into Place, it is played at a fair tempo plus its got an alternate tuning I think it would make a good lesson and it is just a great song.
Excellent teaching style, very clear and easy to follow, makes an apparently quite complex song a joy to learn. You probably don't need me to tell you that with over 1M subscribers but I felt compelled to, thank you!
Brilliant! Demystified a difficult mystical song. Loved the pace, suggestions and tabs along the top. I’m practically strumming my way through to get the rhythm and I’ll tidy up the accuracy later. But was able to pick most of it up very quickly. Would have struggled with tabs alone.
Hey Sensei!!!...Thanks so much for this tutorial...I can now play and sing Paranoid Android...whoo hoo!! I think the secret is to play it slow...it's a lot slower than I thought in the recording.
Love it! Thank you so much Justin. I live for Radioheads’s music and being able to play this makes me so happy! Your voice sounds incredible and full of the emotion of the song. Well done mate!
I was really hoping for "that's why He kills them" at the end from the demo version. Great cover and lesson as always Justin. Much love and appreciation ❤
Many thanks for the super thanks and supporting the channel. It means a lot. Cheers 😊 | Richard_close2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide & Approved Teacher www.justinguitar.com
That was really beautiful Justin and I do believe that this song actually suited your voice. Ain’t no Froggy Bottom seen as much use as yours pal and I just think that’s a great advertisement for what is a high end boutique guitar 👏
Oh wow... I think I've found my dream piece, this cover is incredible. OK Computer is my favorite album ever, so I'll be playing that song within the next 5-10 years 💪 Thank you so much.
Years ago, I started learning guitar with your videos and now I see your cover of one of my favourite songs to sing and play by myself. I had a smile the whole time watching it. Btw i didn't know you can sing this well! And it is nice that you haven't lost your positive energy at all! Jigsaw Falling Into Place and Lotus Flower are my other fav sing and play songs by radiohead. They are tough too but so fun at the same time, I would recommend. BTW it would be awsome if you gave details about how you recorded this, it is so clean, cheers!
In the third part you can make easier the chords. First of all, it's Cm G/B Gm/Bb (only move one finger) and A. Then Dm A Dm Dm/C is near the neck with open strings. That's how Thom Yorke plays it live.
Thank you so much for a great lesson on one of my favourite Radiohead tunes! Your cover was also amazing, not just guitar but the vocals too. Hitting the same notes as Tom on this one isn't easy.
That was awesome Justin !!! Fair play.. I’ll give it a go, might take me a few years 😂. By that time the arthritis would be well and truly kicking in.. Brilliant rendition 👍
This is great, I'm starting to get it to work. Your advice of just going into the flow, even missing a note here and there, is key. I notice that you're playing significantly faster than the album version, is it a different version your playing?
One of my favourite songs! Amazing cover and version. A bit beyond my capabilities at this stage, but a few more of your lessons and we will get there! 😂

Some serious musicianship from Thom Yorke to create this tour de force that I remember being blown away by their legendary Later performance
More Radiohead on acoustic please!! You've been on a rampage with great lessons recently!!
Yes! Do some from In Rainbows please

Yes this please Justin! Thanks for all you do 🙏
Fantastic cover!! Don't remember you being able to sing like that when I learned on the site almost 8 years ago 🙂
You can do it too. Just a matter of practice.
There’s some high notes in there, I can only reach that when I hit my thumb with a hammer
Really great singing!! Damn!
His singing got much better over the years mine is still the same shit lmao
Holy Tasmanian! No surprises another great lesson that has me climbing up the walls in awe. Lucky for us you are always on a roll. Never a let down Justin!
I see what you did there 😉
That might have been the sickest cover on this channel. Holy mother of god.
Fun fact it actually took them over a year and a half to learn that song.
DOUBTFUL! Please post a link to where you learned this
@@jawojnicki It's from the Radiohead fandom page, "it took the band a year and a half to learn how to play the final version in live performance"
Fun fact, it’s going to take me much longer…
bloody hell man, that was incredible. Great work!

Fantastic voice Justin, and playing of course thx
Would love to see some tutorials of Jonny's crazy electric parts! And a harmonic analysis, especially of that "rain down" section. Beautiful
Impressive Mr Sandercoe. Learning Difficulty level high this one. 😆
Damn that was a badass performance!

Absolutely fantastic cover. Your singing is going from strength to strength too...you continue to inspire me Justin!
Took me an age to learn this way back when but the sense of achievement was unreal. Great lesson.
