As long as you have a guard on your clippers you should be fine. If you need to do the back have a second mirror for that. I've done my on hair for 5 years now and it's a money saver

it always ends up being more than you expected haha, i did my bay and it took forever. You will keep finding holes after you sand too, i had a hard time moving on because i kept finding new things. finally made it through. good luck haha!

It may take a while and your views may suffer a bit but keep pushing through and the result will be 100% worth it!
You know if you welded the holes on the passenger side where k series mount needs to be so you can weld the threaded holes shut.
For the k swap on an EK you dont need that metal piece due to the hasport mounts not using it and a lot of people delete it anyway
There’s a company called ASR(known for their subframe braces) they sell a kit of radiator bracket for relocating radiator or switching to a full size.
Also, you filled the holes where your upper control arms come threw the body and bolt down.

With the poly mounts the bondo may start to crack the k vibrates the body like mad.
Great video like always but as a automobile body technician (bondo)it’s one of the worst body fillers out there but it’s looking good and I’m excited for the civic

Bondo must be old, I was trying to use some earlier this week and we had an older already tough bondo and a newer softer body filler and I tried using the harder one first and it never hardened!

Talk about committed, hand grinding out that entire engine bay is like masochism. Why not get a media blaster, tack up some plastic and blast it all out in about 2 hours? (plumbers putty to block the holes you need to keep)

You weld the mounts or make custom brackets
metal will only be as cold as the surrounding temps. To a touch, metal feels colder due to its higher thermal conductivity.

I have Hasport EKK2 mounts (eg subframe) but my mounts don't look like that...I'm curious if he has the wrong ones or the new mounts have some kind of different design
