Honestly give Horizon a shot it’s more arcade than sim. You certainly can’t drive a Lamborghini Aventador off road in real life without having a an expensive fire ball mess
Moon Man change difficulty then, trust fh3 tests every bit of your skill when you take off all the assists and put it on unbeatable mode with no rewind and and engine damage on along with tires then you will know difficulty and yes I know the first one has a different feeling even till this day and if you want the same feeling then you can forget it because it’s just not going to happen unfortunately
Trust me turning off all your assists, putting engine damage and tyre wear on simulation and having the racers on unbeatable difficulty is quite the challenge on long races. Go do 2 laps of goliath with all that off and simulation engine damage etc. If the AI's that can turn perfectly on rails don't shove you off the track and make you crash first, then you'll see by the first 8th of lap 2 your tyres are like driving on ice and you have to take corners about half the speed as before and your top speed on straights is cut down to about 3/4 and in some cars 1/2 of what it was before and your lead will be gone in minutes
@William Mills Yea it's pretty shoddy, I love having all assists off and challenging myself but the tyres wear too quickly and it's nearly impossible to corner at a reasonable speed that way, and of course the Drivatar's that rude on rails and ram you off the course on corners when they don't brake properly.

IIRC, Pink Slip Races fall afoul of Gambling Legislation in a couple of EU Nations, that's why you don't see them anymore. A Car Gifting System would be Nice however.
Player to Player Car Gifting Is fine at ESRB E, its just *Very* difficult to Programme. Pink Slips however, IIRC, used to be ESRB 12, but I am pretty sure they are AO now, I think they are also somewhat legally questionable in Belgium and the Netherlands if I recall their Rules Correctly. So although a Gifting System is Possible, I am pretty sure Pink Slip Systems are no longer Possible, hence Why Games no longer Have them.

I like the leveling from painting thing. I've become slightly obsessed with hand painting every car I get to look like a Hot Wheels or Matchbox car. The obsession started when I got the Hot Wheels dlc for Horizon 3 and I wanted my cars to fit in.
I like the game but i dont know about the winter season like being all slippery for a whole week and not being able to get out of it and crashing all the time but everything else seems fine
I was thinking about that myself. I like the concept and from what Ive seen in the demo I definitely like the addition of seasons. However, being 'locked" to a whole season for a week? Winter comes to mind as being problematic when trying to get stuff done. idk, we'll see. Worst case scenario, you just put the game down for a week till the seasons change I guess.

Secretz316 Back in Forza 7 people noticed that all production model Toyotas were gone. Only ones like the Arctic Hilux has made it into the games. That's because Arctic owns the license for that particular car and model. I've gotten mixed reports on why Toyota pulled out of games but they for sure have done exactly that. The leaked car list for this game shows none and all racing games recently haven't had any. I've heard they either didn't want people modifying their cars or they weren't seeing enough increase in sales. Either way it's a money thing. They hate that people prefer old Toyota and aren't buying new ones. They don't see any kickbacks from games so they simply don't care anymore.

I can't wait! FH3 already looks absolutely amazing in 21:9 on the PC, and apparently FH4 is going to be much better optimized. In any case, as long as the launch goes smoother than the FH3 launch I'm gonna be happy 👍
This actually helped me understand the real time no driveatar system. I thought it was going to be like an open lobby non stop but this video told me that its open lobby for those who are on your friends list. Since I have no friends I guess I will be able to keep the game in single player mode while having drivetars on at all times. Sooo nothing's changed there overall.

Sven Wirth you can't compare the two directly. They are both in two completely different genres. One is arcade, one is sim. I'm just saying Forza has been overhyped for last 2 iterations and hopefully this changes with this game. Tbh I like forza- I have fh3 but got bored after a while due to no progression and stupid races against planes where you easily win. I also don't like how they have so much dlc when games like GT sport has free dlc and the game has better quality overall. And no I just was saying playground games have been complacent the past 2 games due to no competition but again it looks like it might change, with actual progression where we don't get a Ferrari as a first car 😂 or some other fast car. Otherwise you'll get bored very fast
Sven Wirth and the crew will get better over time with updates like other UBI games. Its miles better than the first iteration and you can't blanket the handling/ gameplay as every discipline is different as each handling model is different

Which game am I thinking of? And nope, still not bored with Forza Horizons 3 and I got it at launch. Now, the grind of The Crew 2 with that insane economy of theirs (a Camaro for about the same price as a three bedroom house in a decent neighborhood? Pffftt...whatevs!) that's driven to make people consider microtransactions? That bored me quite quickly.

Pittsburgh PA would be perfect for DLC. Its not to big so it wont compete with the main map. It could also be closed off easily because its surrounded by cliffs. If you've ever been in the city, it's literally a hotwheel track.

Forza Horizon 4 have much of detail ,even on windshield also have reflections,and mirror too,hope they make sound more realistic in horizon 4,and improve weather change ,like heavy rain ,light rain,thunderstorm ,maybe make winds levels cause the trees swinging or fall down...make driving have some challenges...

I'm mainly looking forward to the changing season as even though I really enjoy the Horizon series when you got to the point that you where just doing races to get to the end it kind of felt a bit boring to have the same weather every time. Now with the changing season's you can just take small breaks and every week will have a different racing feeling

So basically it's going to be Test Drive Unlimited 2 but without the Clothes, House customization, Skimpy bikini carwashes and Plastic surgery.

I love TDU2, still play it from time to time. It's aged well imo. Would love to see a TDU3. Sadly, TDU3 has about as much chance as a Half Life 3 though.

Racing games are all about gameplay and nothing else.
And when it comes to gameplay Forza is miles better then the Crew series.
Sven Wirth you can't compare the two directly. They are both in two completely different genres. One is arcade, one is sim. I'm just saying Forza has been overhyped for last 2 iterations and hopefully this changes with this game. Tbh I like forza- I have fh3 but got bored after a while due to no progression and stupid races against planes where you easily win. I also don't like how they have so much dlc when games like GT sport has free dlc and the game has better quality overall. And no I just was saying playground games have been complacent the past 2 games due to no competition but again it looks like it might change, with actual progression where we don't get a Ferrari as a first car 😂 or some other fast car. Otherwise you'll get bored very fast
Sven Wirth and the crew will get better over time with updates like other UBI games. Its miles better than the first iteration and you can't blanket the handling/ gameplay as every discipline is different as each handling model is different

I'm thinking of an arcade racing game, full of cars, both exotic and regular, with street, track and offroad racing events, all being played with the backdrop of a popular festival and media event where progression in the game is linked to your ability to garner more and more followers by doing stunts and winning races, and earning money to buy more cars. Which game am I thinking of?
And nope, still not bored with Forza Horizons 3 and I got it at launch. Now, the grind of The Crew 2 with that insane economy of theirs (a Camaro for about the same price as a three bedroom house in a decent neighborhood? Pffftt...whatevs!) that's driven to make people consider microtransactions? That bored me quite quickly.
I don't usually go for brand new games but this one is very tempting!

Pittsburgh PA would be perfect for DLC. Its not to big so it wont compete with the main map. It could also be closed off easily because its surrounded by cliffs. If you've ever been in the city, it's literally a hotwheel track.

Forza Horizon 4 have much of detail ,even on windshield also have reflections,and mirror too,hope they make sound more realistic in horizon 4,and improve weather change ,like heavy rain ,light rain,thunderstorm ,maybe make winds levels cause the trees swinging or fall down...make driving have some challenges...
Will there be an option to set the session for offline play? That would be nice. Somtimes I just wanna drive silently and peacefully through a beautiful rainforest in the spring, lol
The game comes out on October 2nd for the normal and deluxe editions. For the ultimate edition it comes out on the 28th September

I play FH3 almost every day and im SO DAMN HYPED FOR THIS GAME
They should have thrown in the Coventry Ring Road and the Spaghetti Junction IMO. They could have nicknamed it Midland Drift.
I'm mainly looking forward to the changing season as even though I really enjoy the Horizon series when you got to the point that you where just doing races to get to the end it kind of felt a bit boring to have the same weather every time. Now with the changing season's you can just take small breaks and every week will have a different racing feeling
