    I really appreciate the time you put into these videos! That thin extrude is a game changer for venting. Also see you've inspired more popular bait makers to give this a try keep up the great work my friend!

      Thanks man appreciate the comment! Thin extrude is a million times better to the old way I was doing it with pipes, so glad they added that feature

    This helped a lot. Your whole channel did. I'm trying to do the same with my resin printer. Make molds. This helped a lot!

    I have recently go down the same path doing my own mold and just want to say a big thank you for sharing all the tutorial videos, I have surely learnt a ton from your channel. If you happened to have shot this mold, please upload it and it would be great to see the end results! Tight lines, Phil

      Thanks Phil! Great idea on the follow-up video, I will put that in the queue!

    Great video….. Slightly different workflow to mine, but I picked up a couple of methods which will improve my own speed on the mould. At some point, I’ll find the time to really dig down into Fusion, but so far it’s all been learned “on the fly”. Well done and thanks for sharing.

      My joke about Fusion 360 is the 360 is for the 360 ways you can do the same thing! 😆 Glad I was able to help out some!

    Is this type of vent intended for resin molds or only for CNC Alu?
    fine extrusion I was wondering what it was for ... it simplifies things a lot, it's great!
    Thank you for your videos it's a treat !!

      I use it for resin molds but this technique was shared with me from a CNC mold maker, I am just not sure of the exact dimensions of the vent

      It's already good.
      See you soon on a new video :)

    I am blaming you for the new Resin printer and all the new techniques to create my modes before the CNC. I would like to see a little more for the bait creation... Great Job!

      LOL Any baits you want to see me create in particular?

      @@WMBayouLures Well I guess it more techniques. How you made the model. Thanks!

    I made a hellgrammite injection mold after watching this and some of your other videos. I didn't even know this world existed.
    Is it possible to print something like that on an FDM printer or is it only practical with resin?
    Edit: I saw your "Which printer should I get?" video. Thankfully there's still plenty of other things I can do with the FDM until I get a resin printer.

    • @WMBayouLures
      @WMBayouLures  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want to make a quick open pour 1 shot test mold then FDM can work but for molds resin is way better

    Why not model this parametricly so that it’s fully adjustable with user defined variables?

    • @WMBayouLures
      @WMBayouLures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mostly because at the time I made this I had no idea how to do that! 😅😅😅 If you watch my newer videos I go all parametric freaky town!

    What’s the cost of the Fusion360 program?

    • @WMBayouLures
      @WMBayouLures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Free for personal use (up to 10 active projects) then if you want to go pro (no major difference for the stuff I am doing) then it is around $495 a year but it goes on sales for $325 a year at least once a year, that is what I am paying. - www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/personal

    "Have a nice hole to put my injector into" is not an improvement. 🤣
