  • Bezels are not the only way to go with enamels! Giving equal weight to both the setting and enamel will drive the planning process for your projects--screws, rivets, sewing with wire/thread, etc., must be considered before enameling.
You will create your enamel pieces through torch-firing (kilns are fine also), then incorporate them into the full evolution of the completed piece. Some metalsmithing skills are needed if you wish to use the artistic process to create more complex settings for your enamels/objects.
Anne will be showing many cold connection possibilities as well. We will discuss different ways of seeing ordinary objects that can give you clues or ideas about more complex settings.
ABOUT ANNE: Anne Havel is famous for her torch-fired vitreous enamel on copper or fine silver jewelry designs. Each of her pieces is a combination of many techniques she has developed over years of working in her studio.
Anne's enamel jewelry stands by itself for its unique painterly style and unusual settings.
Anne Havel has earned 16 various awards honoring her work over the last 6 years and her work has been published in several magazines and books.
When not working on her own jewelry designs in her studio, or selling her work in an art show event, she is teaching workshops across the country sharing her many secrets and masterful techniques with all of her delightful students!!
