Thanks - a very nice idea. Results show that a dent can be 'improved' to look at least 'better' than it was ever before, even if not entirely removed. Regards.
I am in my drive, fixing to pull some dents out my 1982 Geo. I yell to my wife inside the house to "bring me a toilet plunger and the vaseline, oh yeah don't forget a bowl of hot water" My neighbor over hears me and sends over his 9 year old daughter with a out of date 6 pack of Bud-Light.
For those who say it doesn't work, sometimes you have to go at it pretty repeatedly before you see progress. You can also buy one of those large silicone dildos with the suction cup on the end, I've seen people removing dents with those, also, and I think they stick better, lol. The other thing is, if you have a car that is not equipped with flimsy panels like this, it can be harder to pull a dent out. For example, my car is a year 2000 Honda, and it has a dent that I doubt I will be able to get out with a plunger, because the door is very heavy, made of solid metal. In those situations, you are stuck removing the door panel and trying to bang it out from the inside. Having it removed by drilling is a long process and requires paint and bondo to repair the hole. If you use any kind of suction or paintless Dent removal kit, you have to work on a area by area, you can't just walk up with a plunger and yank on it and expect it to be fixed, not unless it's a smaller dent.
just poke it a hole in the plunger? it’s better to mess up the plunger then to attempt pulling it off and unfixing the damage you just fixed . better to ruin a cheap plunger then to have waste thousands fixing a bigger mess
. These days "dent remover"s are cheap and work much better. . You may also apply some tiny layer of honey on lips of rubber where touching the paint of dent area. . Try and let us know the difference. . Thank you and good luck.
You Switched cars. The 1st was dented on the left front side which I bet you CAN'T REPAIRED it. The 2nd on the rigth pasenger side which Is very easy to Fix it by knocking from the inside . The 3.30' was a miracle.
I see so many videos on how to remove dents from car bodies. Most of these DIY techniques may take out some of the dent, but they usually make matters worse because of incorrect placement and creating more high spots in the metal. You’re really better off leaving this type of work to someone who knows how to do PDR. Doing things on the cheap only makes matters worse.
@@z3usluckycloud__551 Sure iit will work if the dents are small and having someone who knows what he/she is doing in removing the dent. That, sir, is the crux of the problem. There are tons of folks out there who buy one of these kits and have no idea of how to properly use them. Additionally, doing things on the cheap is not always the best way to go. I can't count the number of times I've had to repair body work where people did things incorrectly It often costs them more to repair the additional damage done instead of taking the vehicle to a PDR body shop before their attempting to do the body work. Time is money and money is time. The dent in this video should have taken about 1 to 1.5 hours to remove. Instead, making it worse would require 2.-3 hours. But, a PDR shop will be glad to take your money either way.
@@kingkj664 I can't get my footing on the roof to try lol. I will be trying again soon. Because I have stuff on my roof and the damage I'd above the driver next to the window, it's just a really hard spot to get to. It sucks and I'm about to add lights to the spot (it's an Ecto-Van for a Ghostbuster group in Jersey)
er It would go in and out forever if you won't release the stress of the metal. Keep in mind that PDR is 40 % pushing or pulling, and 60 % TAPING.While to hit the metal cost $3, to know how to tap a dent cost $997.
OMG!! I cannot stop laughing y'all...my sides hurt so baaadd!!! He can't get that d@mn little ol' plunger to suck up on that car for $hit!!! Bwahahaha!!! Oh Lord, it hurts! & just how do he think that nearly 3ft. long scratch was coming out? What was he gonna suck that out with?? 😂😂😁😁
What was the hot water about? Couldn't of stayed even warm by the time he manages to get the plunger to stick. Dent is still there. Just a cleaner well lubricated dent 🤣🤣🤣
If a car's dent can be fixed by a bathroom plunger, then its build quality is too cheap. For cars with good build qualities, its neither easy to create a dent, nor easy to repair one.

Wash it thouroghly and wax the panel and it should be gone

Yes my car has thick metal (Volvo) and the dent is a large crease so this will not work as the metal just won’t pull out like this
I think it might only for on fiberglass? Today lots of cars are made out of fiberglass.
Dent in my camry door is too narrow and V shaped to be pulled out doing this trick :/
