Shit, I played Secret of Mana as an adult and it terrified me, in a good way. It's that good. I am sure it would have been more terrifying as a kid but eh, I am just glad that I experienced this game.

The gnarly ruins music is also that cool balinese drum music. I forget the name off the top of my head.

As soon as I saw a spell being cast my mind was like, why isnt the cast lvl 8. Grinded everything so hard to 8.99, the "super" verions were really cool even though they interrupted you chain casting spells :D
Edit also remembers grinding Mana Fortress to get every weapon to max lvl. Dont even know if thats a good memory or not.
