@@aalam1001 Hello! I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the resource files. Could you please reach out via email with screenshots? I'd be happy to assist you!
Mach'ALLAH!! you're talented at explaining..I thaught that maybe you'll be interested to make a video about how you edit videos..what the application you recommend and so on ..this will be useful for beginners like me ❤❤
I’ve received many requests about how I edit my videos, and it's definitely something I'm considering for a future video! I can share that I currently use Final Cut Pro, which I really enjoy ☺️
Thank you for a great tutorial. There are many brush tutorials available that walk through changing brush settings but few take the time to explain what each setting change means. It would have been helpful to have the exact shape or instructions on how to create it. However .... This was all very helpful and with a few tweaks I finally have a favorite Procreate calligraphy brush!
Thank you for your kind words! I'm thrilled that you found the tutorial helpful for your calligraphy practice ☺️ Just in case, I made my exact brush shape available for download. If you're interested, you can find it here: www.flourishedhope.com/ipadbundle
this was a great video, please can you share where you downloaded the shape half oval shape from to make the custom brush so that I can follow along. Mine is not 100% there yet
From day one of downloading this app I have been frustrated with it reacting nothing like what I want it to. None of the brushes react the way they look at all. My calligraphy brushes don't go from thin to thick at all. Even the stock script brush you showed reacts differently in this video. Mine is just a normal rounded line like a regular pen. Idk what I'm doing wrong or what settings I need to change but I'm about ready to quit all together out of sheer frustration.
Yeah, you’re going to need an Apple Pencil that’s compatible with the iPad model you have. I started out with a stylus too, but without pressure sensitivity it’s pointless. I got lucky with eBay in getting mine for cheap, but to eliminate some risk, I would get it elsewhere.
I'm glad you found a solution to your problem! Honestly, I think to get the most out of Procreate's features, the Apple Pencil is well worth the investment ☺️
Great question! Essentially you need to create a white shape with transparent background. Maybe that should be one of the future video topic I should cover 🤔
That is very strange 🤔 My first question would have been if you are also using an Apple pencil or another stylus. Hmmm I am also very curious why your brush won't function properly. I will try to make my final brush available in near future!
You can certainly create one yourself but that brush shape is available for FREE in my download link! www.flourishedhope.com/opt-in-1c21b91d-8a79-4355-a647-a32d0f345345
Oh, may I ask if you are using an Apple pencil or another stylus? I heard that if you created your custom brush based from a brush that was set as monoline, it would produce only monoline no matter how hard you press it 🤔 What is the name of the brush that you custom tweaked from?
Hmmm... I wonder why the brush is not working the same 🤔 Are you using the Apple Pencil? Did you make sure under "Brush Studio" -> "Apple Pencil" -> "Pressure Size" the setting is set to MAX? If so, I am looking for a way to share the finalized brush file in the near future. I hope you consider subscribing to my channel so that you won't miss more details of the thick & thin brush when it's uploaded.

Oh yes, I sincerely hope you can join the fun soon ☺️ As you already saw, we don't need the top of the line supplies to have fun.
@@FlourishedHope yes absolutely 🤗 even you can enjoy this with a pen or paper also....
Mine still does not go from thin to thick 😢
Oh no! Could you let me know if you're using an Apple Pencil or a third-party stylus?
@FlourishedHope hello I'm using an apple pencil USB c but I have the same problem. Please help
Hi. I'm using a stylus pen and it's only drawing thin lines. Do you think the pencil is the problem or I'm missing something? Thanks

How do we come up with the basic shape of the brush?🙈😞
Great question! Essentially you need to create a white shape with transparent background. Maybe that should be one of the future video topic I should cover 🤔
