Had only been watching this over ND over again finally sat myself to make this brush. You have explained the process so damn well that I can say am elated with your tutorial because it's not just clear n self explanatory but it's left me with a perfect copperlate brush I was nearly settling to buy.... God bless u and I suggest everyone to follow this tested procedure ...the brush works super duper .....cheerz n thanks !!!
What an excellent video and you solved a problem for me in being able to keep my upward stroke thin. Finding the right option, in this case pressure settings, made a huge difference for me. Thank you so much, especially since I love to do copperplate calligraphy on my iPad.❤
I like this tutorial very much. Could you also include a download link for your brush, for the people who may be having problems getting the settings just right? 😊
Your tutorial is wonderful, I'm just having issues with my transform tool when try to select the line on my first duplicate layer. The transform tool surrounds the outside of the square instead of the line. It's so frustrating as everything else is so clear. Can you give me some idea as to why this is happening and how to fix it, I can't seem to rectify it 🤦🏻♀️
Thanks for replying so quickly, I’ve followed your tutorial exactly as you have it on the video the 1st layer was filled with black then the drawing grid was applied and then the first line of 10 squares in width was drawn, I then duplicated that layer and pressed the transform tool which surrounded the full square instead of just the line. I’ve spent the last couple of hours trying to figure out why it’s not just surrounding the line. I’ve also tried using a second layer where it’s only the line that’s drawn on it and not a full colour fill background but again the transform tool surrounds the outside of the square.
I've managed to work around the transform tool by adding a new layer, I changed the colour of the original parallelagram lowered the opacity and drawing on top of the new layer using white I drew the top line, duplicated that layer, drew a second line, duplicated that, drew the 3rd line, duplicated that, finally drew the 4th line, merged these layers colourfilled in white and deleted the original layers so I was left with just the parallelagram, I added a new black layer which I moved below the parallelagram I then centered it copied it and progressed with following the rest of your tutorial (round the world for a short cut but I got there). I wouldn't have been able to complete it with our following your guidance within each of the brush properties so many thanks for sharing, much appreciated 😀
@@janetmillar2573 Im so glad you figured it out and wrote the whole process here! It will be super helpful for anyone else if they face the same issue :)

Hello! I sell this same brush on my Etsy shop and it is linked in the description! 😊
excellent brush, thank you!
What if you follow all these steps and it’s still doesn’t give you the thin line on the brush?

Have you created the line on a separate layer? Or is the line on a layer along with some other elements?

@@aninklingofcurry couldn't have done it without you though. Thank you 😀
Not working on my procreate 😭
Hey I'm trying to feelup the in box but it goes out of the box also
I followed instructions but I am unable to create brush.
Isn’t there a way to buy a brush like this rather than creating it?😊
Yes you absolutely can buy it. I have it on sale on my Etsy shop 😊

When I duplicate it the original white line disappears. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
I’ve followed this to the T and it doesn’t look anything like urs
I followed everything, but it didn't give me the brush like yours. I wonder what is wrong.
Please send me your brush and I can see what's wrong :)
That was so helpful but in the end it didn’t work bc I use Logitech Crayon 🥲.. Thanks for sharing tho!!
