    you guys are so easily getting the things he's trying to convey. It's because you have opened your minds to welcome whatever is said. You often see people who become stale and rigid in their thought process, have great difficulty to agree, because it breaks down their reasoning (or rather what they have learnt believing)

    You guys always bring up so many good topics which makes for a lot of discussion! I like how you are talking about how it’s kind of a cycle of acceptance like you have to understand things and be okay with them to move on and be fully conscience but it’s not a permanent consciousness because something else will come a long that could set you back and then you kind of have to tackle each instance separately and just keep trying to create that cycle of accepting everything

    • @LearnWithUsOriginals

      Yeah dude right on! You gotta take everything in life and move through it fully. That’s something I’ve been learning lately. Negative emotions don’t just go away, they have to be dealt with for one to overcome them. Much love, we are glad you’re here😊

    “Tapped back into reality and you realize it was so useless” happens to me all the time, it’s almost as if it feels impossible to get out of your mind like it’s a locked door, but it takes nothing to do it realistically. And then once you’re out you can tell that nothing was really holding you there, except for yourself

    • @LearnWithUsOriginals

    LADS!!!! I had watched this, and then stepped away to try your meditation on where we focus our good emotions on people that arent favorable to us. It's a great training tool for helping us see the importance of removing the moral attachment good and evil to thoughts. When we look at food or diet culture we can clearly see how these facets are part of a common culture, where certain foods are BAD or certain foods are GOOD. This topic is so amazingly winding and twisty that it led my mind all over the place when I was meditating on your video/reaction.
    Thank you guys for constantly making me think, and challenge myself to piece together all the information we've learned together. This video also reminded me of the wishing tree in your head, where you want to ensure the wishing tree provides you with the right manifestation. Our cloudy weighted thoughts can interrupt our process for attaining the things we need in life. Such as to see and live life for what it truly is, LIFE!!

      LOVE that you tried that meditation out! Has been huge for me I also noticed that its helpful to instead of just focusing on people also focus on general situations that we often find ourselves in. For example its easy to be loving when you're non stressed on a weekend with friends, but by taking that attitude and laying it over a work week situation I have found that I am able to enter those work days with a more positive attitude.
      As always a treat to read your comment. Just turned you into a starred commenter on our channel. DK what it does but you deserve it always want to highlight the stuff you say because it adds so much to our discussions!
      We got a slap in the face yesterday about the content we let into our minds when we watched a really crappy movie called "annihilation" (at least crappy in my opinion) cause its all about just looking at the world negatively and living based on fears rather than passions and really put us both into a horrible mindstate. awakened us to the importance of media intake though to keep our wishing trees in a powerful state of creation!

      There is a good difference in culture of deciding food as good and bad, and knowing by experience. Thoughts may not have experience but experiencing your thought is a world of difference as it means we manifest our thoughts, which can be dangerous. That why Sadhguru says not to give power to the diarrhoea of thoughts by recycling then and segregating them but treat them as diarrhoea - unwanted. ❤️

    Do not fix and stuck to good or bad or positive or negative because it will fix as habit within you and remind you again and again and our present conscious identity will be lost in that thinking. we will not live in our original present state. This all we create ourselves and get disturbed our present. when we think of that this is negative it first create in our inner world. we germinate this thinking seed within us in our mind and we become first victim for this negativeness and bear it by disturbing ourself by repeatation of thought.

  • @memzworld5515
    @memzworld5515 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I understand that we assign positivity/negativity to thoughts in the same way that we do to actions we deem as moral or immoral. The following question is where I get really tied up: if a human kidnaps/rapes another human or does anything of equal, in my opinion, immorality like ending another's life without reason, how do you apply any of Sadhguru's strategies? Where does Sadhguru's moral compass lie and how should we deal with these societal issues?
    To me, he seems to take the "First truly understand your interactions with your internal systems" approach and follows it up with "Bring peace and joy into your personal life and then it will naturally be brought into your environment and thus the world.... hate can only bounce off resistance so if it is met with love, joy, and peace it will simply have nothing to continue off of" which makes sense in conversations but only action helps when there is a situation such as what I described.
    How do you meet such atrocities with love and understanding? I can only think that it has to deal with the person's past, but that doesn't do anything for the current situation and the now. I really wonder what he has to say when it comes to such a complex, volatile, and ever-changing situation such as law/morality when it has to apply. Another thing I think of is treat others how you want to be treated and that would lead to an eye for an eye if taken literally.
    I am just so confused with this guys, please help :(

    • @LearnWithUsOriginals
      @LearnWithUsOriginals  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that is definitely something that is difficult! Here, I usually turn to lines by my favorite rapper J.Cole. He says in his song ‘Change’, “I believe if god is real he’d never judge a man/because he knows us all and therefore he would understand/the ignorance that make a n**** take his brother life/the ignorance and pain that got him beating on his wife”. I think this line is super insightful. All these immoral things that people do-they do them because of the environment they were brought up in. The way I can move toward love with people like this is showing real sorrow that someone was brought to do such a horrid act. I do not believe humans are born or designed to be rapists and murderers. Our warped and broken societies create them. So, I think the only way to show people love is to take a huge step back and show that amount of understanding. Seeing people as a product of where they came from. It’s way easier said than done, but that’s how I go about those thought processes.

    • @memzworld5515
      @memzworld5515 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LearnWithUsOriginals Very well said! I like to think like that too, but it unfortunately doesn't do much for the reactive portion to all these situations (especially with the way the current systems are). It is hard to be a fair judge in a world where the concept of good and bad is of one's own creation as well. I guess that's where my main question lies: how to go about things after they have happened. Obviously its on a case by case basis, but I am always curious about how Sadhguru would structure things.

    You are seriously mistaking the part of having distance from mind and body. Maybe doing some practices could help you recenter yourself better and handle thoughts better but it is not so simple. First is always inner silence that sets in, second is energetic shift and then it starts to hurt real bad and the pain train continues for months on end. Then you truly get distance from mind and body. Its permanent. No longer your physical condition, nor your stress or anything else will be able to down you but you still can feel them. This is the state of 'Distance' wherein you can physically feel the distance between mind and body. I could go on and on about how this happens and what it is about but it's not really necessary. This is more of a Ascetic practice and its not meant for normal people because it can dismantle your existing life. Spiritual process is more like a living death than enhancement of life. More deeper you go in, more silence there is. It is not as exciting or appreciative practice but if you are consistent enough and aligned well you might be showered with Bliss and ecstasy.

    • @LearnWithUsOriginals
      @LearnWithUsOriginals  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a very interesting take on spirituality! I think I have been trying to let go of the need for certain things in my life, allowing me to let go. Sometimes I can distance myself from my body and mind and it is powerful, though I don’t know where it’s leading.

      @@LearnWithUsOriginals Indeed, just focus deeply on the process of whatever you are doing with 100% focus. You'll naturally get there. All your assumptions, questions and everything burns away in presence of Guru. A new dimension of knowing comes up and slowly things you never imagined you'll ever know in this life becomes a part of it. Perspective on life completely changes and suddenly life feels absolutely magical even though nothing has changed, just your perspective has become sharper. it is just like as if you were a 1 volt bulb now you are a 100 volt, due to all this excess energy, you see better than others.
