Examining the dead Gamdias Kratos M1 550b Power Supply

So I decided take apart of the Gamdias Kratos M1 550b Power Supply. To better understand of what it looks like inside to see if I can find what might of caught it to have die.
upon taking this apart. I have realized that it might of be a connector the shorted out.. Not the capacitors in it cause I see no signs of any that blew. No scorches marks or swollen Caps.
Let me know what you guys think that might of happened Remember this computer was bought in 2020 of May.. So its about 4 years old.

Bro why it died ? . Im planning to buy m1 600W for my rx 580 build . Is it bad ?

@@gamerzone_lk to be fair. Was about 4 to 5 yrs old. Plus did a video of cleaning it too. So I wouldn't say it's bad. Just could use more power but should get the job done easily.

yeh you really shouldnt be messing about without at least testing if there is any voltage left in there.

It been dead of like 11 days. So I think it was safe to check around.. I wouldn't never mess with something that is live.. But thank you for the advice. Didn't think of that until now.. lol I'm still here. :p

lol well learnt a lesson the easy way :D could of given you a nasty shock mate. has it really been 4 years since you got that PSU. pretty sure i remember you getting it...??? :S time flies
edit : ah the pc is four years old but the PSU is newer right?

@@rammie1976 Naw this the original PSU that came with the system back in 2020 of May. But you did see me get the 600b one though. That was in a video a few days ago.
