As a Peerless Assassin 120 SE White ARGB owner, I can confidently say that it cools my Ryzen 7 7700X with absolutely no issues and looks great too - it’s also compatible with several softwares like what I use (MSI Mystic Light)
I'm using a Peerless Assassin 120 SE and have had zero issues with heat. Didn't cost a lot, actually outperforms my previous AIO, and was worth every penny.
On thing that ties together a gaming PC is buying the cheapest right on spec components that aren't overkill and allow you to buy a 4090 instead of a 4070TI because you went over budget on your case, your ram and your RGB, your keyboard and your cooler.
@@mythicul A stock cooler is enough for most use cases. Cache has a 90+% hit rate, A basic case works. A psu with no bells and whistles without providing twice the wattage will do it's job. I have seen PC's going for thousands that could have shaven off a few hundred and had a much better GPU. I have seen people buy GPU's a generation higher with the promise of 5 FPS instead of doing the sane thing and forking up where it counts. TJMax is real. You don't need a computer that runs at 55C. Like people. a lot of front and no content. But you tell yourself what you need to tell yourself . Enjoy the coloured leds. HA
@@Hulkeq2 I actually prefer no rgb. What I disagree with is you saying that by saving money on other parts means you'll be able to get a 4090 from a 4070ti. A 4070ti is $800 and a 4090 at the cheapest is $1600. No amount of cheaping out on parts will fork up $800 extra unless you had a $2000 dollar build with a 20 year old shit box and a 4090
Is there a comparison site for coolers? It would be really useful to have a unified source for which coolers actually work best for their price. Of course cooling depends on lots of factors, but if someone tested them in the same setup, changing only the cooler (ideally for a few different CPUs), we could at least have some useful evidence about which products actually work the best.
Noctua costs way more. Even a Dark Rock Pro is cheaper than Noctua. And this, and Thermalright? Fraction of Noctua. (I have Noctua. Good cooler, but way overpriced I feel.)
Or you can get a thermalright peerless assassin se for like $20+ and never have an issue
Peerless assassin 120?
@@lorenzorodriguez9481ye, i also have that and a 4060 and it has never had any issues

They're really hard to find outside the US and EU

Me when I see someone cooling their i3 with a AIO😳
Me when I see someone cooling their Ryzen 5 3600X with an NZXT Kraken AIO:
Wonder how this performs against my Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120
Or the peerless assassin 120.
@@OmerKing916 the phantom spirit is the newer version
ill stick with my NH-D15 from 2014, it does a spectacular job and they've never declined sending me new mounting hardware.

You aren't magically forking up like $800+ dollars by cheaping out on your other components lol

I love your vids
Love air coolers, but man, they take up so much room when you got big video cards.
I bought a nice NH D-15 and it works very well
Hey you should get orange sleeve cables for the 4090.
What actually ties it together are a gazillion zipties, duhhh 😅
Tbh 720 sounded like 2x360 and I thought someone made 2 tube connected 360 radiators as an AIO...
Would be cool though

Gamersnexus megacharts
Can't type more since yt keeps deleting my comment
Would the thermalright perless assassin 120 in all black also be a good substitute?
Yep, those ones are so good man
Most likely smokes this cooler, since this vid is a paid promotion
I want more module like abilities..
I use bread to cool my cpu 🔥🔥🍞
Keeps it cool plus it gives you some nice toast
I mean for the aesthetic right?
"Me trying to justify cooking a 7600x with a kraken240
Should've gone with 360 bruh.
Funny is ths the fan on a aircooler always failed on me 😂 like it starts making buzzing sound after some monthes
NH-D15 twin same fans 😂
I still prefer a mesh side panel over anything see through. Also my CPU is 280 Watts and gigantic.
Me with a cooler held down by zip-ties ☹️
Gamdias still exists?
I would like to see a duct between the heatsink and the rear case fan. That way all the CPU heat is ejected from the case.
But what about the heat from VRM heatsink? Where will they go?
@@fajaradi1223the air in the case will be cooler, and will still move because of other fans. That may be enough. Good point.
If only my ram didn't just BARELY clear my single heatsink cooler, lol
Wanna know what’s cheaper and more reliable? Not having a pc (I binge watch pc building videos)
Can someone explain gow us this thing 270 TDP when my whole PC is 370 at maimum .. its less than 100-150 in some games?
Would u cook ur 13900k with this lol
Noctua. 💀

I like my finstacks shiny
Soooo you are selling fans now ...
Sticking with noctua honestly
Step 1: Be able to afford a PC
More bots than actual people
just get the phantom spirit, performs similar to a nhd15, cheap
Ryzen stock cooler is enough
balls
Will it cool a 7950x while gaming?
I use air cooling on my 7950x3D. It’s fine.
Probably not, even with the nh-u15 *I think that's the name* it can spike up to like 80°
