That "Shut up!" sequence didn't seem right to me. It didn't seem realistic for the younger woman to cut in there. For the others to listen as observers seemed more likely to happen.

You can tell he's 5% under the point at which he loses his temper, but still in total control.
Really disciplined acting. It would've been so natural to get snappy or allow his voice to rise just a little, but the apparent calm makes it seem so reasonable yet...menacing.
She was lucky he didn't say, "Nobody wants a war. If we can't agree, we'll just shake hands and that'll be it!"

Living legend. I hope he's doing okay in his golden years. I remember watching tons of his movies growing up, but I was "coming of age" when The Departed was released, and I really understood how good he is.
Sadly, but truly...Jack is not doing too well in his later years. NOT, blasting him--- great actor in many films. But a story popped up I think nearly a year ago. Title read-- Jack Nicholsan Unrecognizable. You can google just that. Several story sources. Seems he has really health-deteriorated in later years...
He is extremely talented and always has been, but apparently he is not far from the characters he portrays. I think he's been living like a Rockstar for 50 years and that will catch up with anyone
