    Thanks everyone for the AYCE explanation. it totally makes sense.

      I understand the not being able to take leftovers, until you charge me for them. If I am being charged for them, then I should be able to take them with me or don't charge me.

    Of all people you should have know better, Jack. Seriously, which buffet restaurant in this universe let you take food home. If that is allowed, people will pay only for only 1 person and take food home enough to feed the entire family.

    Those rules stop you from wasting food, it's a good policy since it helps them keep their price down from lack of waste.

    It's "all you can eat", not "all you can eat and take home with you"

    Most sushi buffets I have been to are the same. They charge you for what you don't finish because although it is all you can it, they ask that you don't order more than you can eat. So you don't waste! I think it's reasonable.

    Those are the standard rules for AYCE. If you are anywhere but Gen Korean BBQ , you are wasting your money. Try them for lunch on Beach just south of the 405.

    Great price! It's pretty standard around here not to take home leftovers. Our local all you can eat sushi spots charge for any leftovers, cuts down on waste. Nice review guys!

    $9.99 is super cheap. Here in Hawaii it's like $20-$30. The ayce rules are pretty standard and totally reasonable. I've never heard anybody expect to bring their food home lol.. Nice to see your son enjoying kimchee. c:

    Most buffets here don't allow you to take home food which is understandable but charging for left overs is lame although it is only $10 that's a great deal!

    • @Mr.Hankey
      @Mr.Hankey 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      very true actually ive just never really seen that at any buffet ive eaten at. you wouldn't believe how much food gets wasted each year!

  • @ImjustKelly73

    I think if you pay for it you should be able to take leftovers home. I've seen a restaurant like this one on your show before I do believe when you said you were gonna eat Squidward lol. Love Jack Jr.'s review! He's really good at it. Like Father Like Son! Great review y'all! Take Care :)

    • @Kalabenos
      @Kalabenos 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you pay for a certain portion of food you should certainly be allowed to take it home. With AYCE however you could just order a bunch of food after you're finished eating and call it "leftovers". If that were allowed these restaurants would go bankrupt in no time.

    • @ImjustKelly73

    I'm Korean if you like all you can eat you should try moodaepo there's one in Fullerton
    My family owns BBQ spots in Korea and I'll tell you ayce is BAD quality meats. You should rather check out "Kang hodong baekjeong" in Los Angeles (it's a chain brought from Korea) you won't regret trust me, it's probably the most authentic Korean BBQ spot in California

    Did u really just tell us to post comments on common OBVIOUS curiosity rules. They are charging a cheap price and you shouldn't order more than you can eat so it helps them keep their prices down. Again, wow did u really just ask us to comment on that?????? / :

    Kinda hard to focus on what you're saying when you have the poster behind you at 3:50. I understand the policy on not being able to take home AYCE foods, but charging for what you don't eat seems kinda wrong, as well as requiring a minimum of two people. Nice review boys. Incidentally, the sign in Korean reads "Stray Animals Welcome In Kitchen."

    The service here is like trying to get service at liquor stores. Non existent. I reviewed this place and have you even checked the reviews of Yelp? Red Palace is the place to go.
