The Stream-enterer is the one who possesses the Noble Eight-fold Path.
The first and second Mahanama Suttas explain that even though the stream enterer can be distracted from the Noble Eight-fold Pathway he can raise his Phala chitta again. He is inclined towards Nibbana and his death is a noble death.
