Aaron Paul (plays Jesse) wanted to make the scene where he gets thrown out of the shack look good, so he and Raymond Cruz (Tuco) worked together to HURL him out of that shack. Paul hit the door (a proper door, btw. Not a weak, film set door), taking it off its hinges and rolled out onto the ground. He completed the take, and after the director said cut, he fainted. He incurred a concussion from that door hit and had to be taken to a hospital. Dude COMMITTED to that scene lol

not necessarily about your comment, but those in this general regard, is that we have to give reactors grace for not remembering every detail and connecting every dot straight away. most of us have seen these shows/movies multiple times if not dozens of times and we're practically experts on them. able to give interview tidbits, behind the scenes info, quotes from the source material, we've memorized facts we learned from other peoples comment sections, we've read the reddit threads, etc etc so our memory and recollection is way stronger than theirs. the facepalm emoji is a bit much considering it was just a brief shot from the first episode they watched hellas ago while also watching dozens of other movies for us as well. them not remembering the bacon shot of him being 50 isn't that crazy

Aaron Paul was a relative unknown before getting cast as Jesse. The original plans were for Jesse to die sometime before the end of season 1, but as soon as they started shooting scenes, the writers quickly realized just how much of a waste that would be. Aaron Paul won multiple Best Supporting Actor Emmys for his performance.

I think that not even the creators of BB and BCS later, were aware of the legend that they created with the introduction of the Hector Salamanca. And to think that they wanted to kill Jesse in first season and choose not to... best decision in the history of the tv series ever.
I'm amazed. Everyone is always on Walts side, but remember there would be no Heizenberg without Jessie...period. Walt didn't know anything about the streets, Jessie took all the risks while Walt got to stay behind closed doors. That was BOTH their money, they earn it together and lose it together. Period.
Seconding this. I think its a little colored by the fact that (so far this season) we’ve seen jesse do nothing but fail and fuck up and fall lower. But when it comes to the meth operation, walt wouldn’t have ever even gotten anywhere without him
it’s crazy because when i was watching it i was hating walt since season 2 and on, jesse gets abused and dragged into the partnership with walter and still gets the blame
Just wait because the show continuously raises the stakes and gets better. Literally one of those shows that has multiple peaks and then ends with in most people’s eyes, the greatest finale of all time.
Right and I doubt they’ll be rooting for Walter once the end starts coming 😭

aaron paul (jesse) is actually from my home town, my aunt was friends with him in high school. i didn't even know until after i declared this as my favorite show. so so crazy

It was the best show ever followed by better call saul.
What's funny is, all Walt had to do to cover for that 2nd cellphone was just say he was using it to buy pot from jesse. Something he already admitted to. Something along the lines of "He was calling my house and I really didn't want him knowing my numbers. Plus you showed up at his house threatening him with our DEA family member. So to avoid you getting on my ass I bought a burner just to score some pot" and Skyler probably would have dropped it.
Finally, ricin, the main character of the show. Not that balding man Walter

I know Jesse lost his half of money, but if it wasn't for Jesse, Walt wouldn't've been able to make any money at all cooking meth by himself. They're in this together, as a team. If Walter lost his money Jesse would totally give his half to keep the "project" going. Jesse wasn't smoking all his money or doing anything stupid, and it was Walter's fault they were dealing with Tuco in the first place. 50/50 partners.

Man, the way this show throws you through the emotions and really sets you into the characters. The chaos that's constantly evolving. The scene where Walter and Skyler are having a full blown arguement, and then we see the RV parked out the front. Kills me 😂 What an absolute rollercoaster 🤣
This show only gets BETTER with each Episode and Season, it's truly is a gem. Looking forward to the rest 🙏

I’m glad you guys aren’t just sitting there hating on Skylar the whole time. I get that she’s “the foil” to the criminal life of Walt, but she acts exactly how a rational pregnant mother of two would. There’s so much misogyny surrounding Skylar, so much that her actress got death threats.

Bc walter is the main character and people root for him, they only look at things from his perspective and bc skylar is like an „opponent“ to him bc she kinda keeps him from freely coocking and doing the shit he does, people start to hate her. I never got the Skylar hate. She was written realistic. I mean how else would any rational thinking adult react?

Aaron Paul's acting only gets better
The inter-character drama is something this show excels at. Sure, the angle of a high school chem teacher turning to a meth chef is good, but this show stands out because every character is deep, fleshed out. Every character has tangible effects in the world. Every character's actions matter.

One thing that always gets me. Walt is such a piece of crap when it comes to how Jessie lost all his money. He took *Jessie's* gun and left him completely defenseless against Tuco. Regardless of if Jessie would have used it or not Walt still left him completely defenseless by taking the gun he bought for himself.
I live that everyone calls him Uncle Tio, because that means Uncle Uncle, which is so funny to me.

The actor who played Jesse actually got locked in thay trunk when Tuco slammed it back down he said it was really hot in there they had to get a team to come out and pry it open and when Tuco beat him up and throw Jease out the door, Aaron Paul really got a concussion the soor broke on his head he blacked out as Tuco kept beating him up because he thought he was still acting Aaron woke up in the ambulance

Foe real though, sometimes the shadiest looking places have the best food. There's a Soul Food restaurant in my town called Harlem Nights. It's in a shady as fuck run down building. Literally built in front of one of the projects in my town. Best soul food I've ever had in my life.
That said Most of the times a shitty looking place is just shitty.
That ricin story he told Jesse is a true story the poor guy was so sick no one knew what was wrong with him and it took a while for anyone to figure out what the cause was and how it happened

Fun fact: the actor who plays Walter Junior's friend Louis/Lewis, asking for "Flynn" at the door while Walter White is cooking breakfast to suck up to Skyler while she's giving him the cold shoulder, is the same actor who plays the crazy racist brother/son in Jordan Peele's film Get Out - the one that wants to fight Daniel Kaluuya's character because he's drinking a bit too much while they're all eating dinner.
