During those 10 years he had the same opportunity as those other starting quarterbacks, to lead a team to a Super Bowl. Brock Purdy who completed his first full season as a starter, helped lead the 49ers to a Super Bowl this guy was picked last in the 2022 draft there's no excuses for guy who played in the league for 10 years in Kirk Cousins Brock Purdy won more big games than Cousins and he's only 24yrs old entering his second season as full time starter he will continue to grow as starting quarterback.

Jalens knee injury last season really hindered his ability to scramble and run. Swift was a good RB, but if you watch his play he wasn't great at blocking during passing plays, its why they would have Gainwell in for many of them.

As an eagles fan it’s a little different. 49ers had a top defense and only had to pay cmc after he changed the season. We got to pay saquon now. Excluding injuries if saquon is a A then swift is B or B+ but is getting paid half of what saquon is getting.

Picking up Saquan was a great move. The Eagles and Howie obviously are confident in what they'll come away with in the draft.

Swift couldn't stay on field cause he couldn't block that's why Gainwell played so much plus Eagles offered him a deal but Bears wanted to over pay for him. Swift is a good player but that was his first great season and that's because of Phillys oline.

It was actually both. The offense couldn't stay on the field and wasn't putting up enough points. The defense couldn't get off the field and was giving up too many points. It was just all around bad last season even when they were winning.

The eagles needed to add on the defensive side they lost 90 percent of the defensive this offseason. 45 million per year for a guy coming off an Achilles injury that just dumb.

I wish we'd lost 90% of our defense this off-season. So far, we've only lost Fletch to retirement. We do have holes, and I'm sure there's a plan. I don't know if it will work, but there's a plan.
They tried to also land Xavier McKinney, but were outbid by the Packers. We're probably looking now at Justin Simmons. He's a shorter-term answer, but he'll work in Fangio's scheme.
I'm curious to see what happens with Reddick and/or Sweat. What do we do at LB? They're probably thinking they can add young playmakers at LB and DB in the draft.

People forget the REAL story of the Eagles Defense last year: they were AWESOME. The problem was they were carrying the team thru the first half of the season, and simply ran out of gas towards the end.
Saquon was meant to help take some of that pressure off the Defense, so they can relax more and play without the weight of the entire franchise on their shoulders
