I feel y’all about the chiefs. Especially with the professionals who play offense and defense (defense was huge for KC this past year). But, I do want to see this experience and see if they 3 peat. 3 peating is like playing 4 full regular. seasons 4:45

Its like this, its only 7 to 1 and only 4 games! There are only 7 AFC teams in the playoffs. Despite whatever happens in the NFC they will send only one team in the playoffs. Is KC a playoff team? Probably, so there really are only seven teams in their way of which they will only have to play 4! If they get the #1 seed, they are down to 3 teams and 3 games! Have they shown they can beat those teams? Yes! So Chiefs it is!

Winning 3 straight rings is insane, and the logic of KC versus the field is sound. They've won 3 super bowls when TRAILING, and those close games eventually don't go your way. But after winning this past title the way they did, going on the road, underdogs, etc, it's hard to pick against them, and pick someone over them. The defense is mostly back, Rice will grow in year two, Brown will be a good addition. Outside of catastrophic injury, i can't logically pick against KC.
And we havent drafted yet, and we are one of the best drafting teams.

The salary cap began in 1994. Unless I’m mistaken, only the Patriots and Chiefs can be considered to be dynasties since 1994. In the age of the salary cap, you have to consider what the Chiefs have accomplished is truly amazing. Only 5 players from the 2019 SB team are left on the roster. To almost completely turn over their roster and continue to have the success they have had, you have to give them their props. The front office has been tremendous from the GM down to the coaching staff & their scouting department with the great draft picks they’ve had. If they 3-peat, there’s not much anyone can dispute against the Chiefs as one of the greatest teams if not the greatest team of all-time. Lastly, never bet against Mahomes.

Still gotta go out and earn it, and the AFC is getting tougher and tougher every year. I am a diehard KC fan, born and raised. I think they have a great shot at a 3peat. Having said that I also understand that it is a Herculean task. I would place the bet but won’t be shocked if it doesn’t come to fruition.
Exactly! They have a lot of things going for them, from Veatch, Reid, Mahomes, C. Jones, and on and on. One of the things that people seem to miss is that the Chiefs find a way to stay just healthy enough all season long, usually healthier than their top competition is, especially late in the season. That's a big reason to have hope that they'll do it again. Had to lean on the Defense HARD last year, but Butker was solid, and the O did just enough, while staying healthy enough, with Mahomes' magic and Reid wizardry and leadership, to get it done.
All they need is to get in the playoffs and watch it all come together, again and again
KC native and fan here too. I’m with you. Last year, I thought the Chiefs would not win the 1 seed, but go to the AFC, but I wasn’t confident they would win. And I wasn’t confident they would win the Super Bowl until they did. This year, I’m already much more optimistic. I think a 14+ win regular season and a 3peat is on the way. It’s going to be a great season, possibly the best so far.

Agree, as a chiefs fan, we’ve been extremely lucky with injuries as well the last couple years. Fingers crossed they continue to stay healthy, if they do, they definitely have a shot.

Mahomes can play multiple styles of QB. Chiefs can win with a lot of combinations of old and new players. Mahomes will likely play to age 40 that's 13 years counting 2024. Mahomes wants 7 SB's or more. Why doubt he can get 4 more. When Kelce leaves Mahomes will need better Wide Receivers, so they will need to focus more on that. When Reid stops coaching in maybe 4 years, Mahomes will be able to run the offense like Brady did without needing a Guru coach.

Kelce is most likely going down as the best TE of all time, top 3 at worse. I highly doubt the guy you draft will be a former QB that understands reading a defense and routes. Also becomes a top 3 TE of all time.
The defense carried those teams. Tom didn't start impressing me until 2006 or so. That along with the alleged cheating makes those pre-Gronk titles questionable.

Joy this show runs so much smoother when you're heading it up and raising the topic questions. With all due respect to Mr Acho, he likes to use a lot of word salad and make his questions twice as long as they need to be. You get to the point and give the panel more time to respond. Which is what we Want!! The producers of Speak need to make this change Permanently
I mean....it's called "Speak", so Acho is just making sure it lives up to the name. He also tries to make his statements/big questions lyrical, like a quick free-style rap. They give props to each other when they hit a flow. Sure, he sometimes takes it a bit too far, but that's all of them to some extent. Shady has to come in hot, Joy has to remind them they aren't all that smart, JJ has to Stan for Green Bay even if no one brings them up, and whoever the rotating, fourth, white guy is, has to argue with the rest of them.

Chiefs are used to playing 19-21 games every season for the past 6 seasons. And Andy Reid runs the toughest training camp in the business. They are built for the grind.

It's not weird to say those extra games add up. Keep in mind Mahomes has had multiples foot injuries, this was the first year he wasn't injured at any point in the season.

The chiefs are just the best at developing stars and making them better overall players. That training camp pushes everyone to their absolute max and shows all these younger players they can do anything
They have played extra games, which is experience. Come SB 58 overtime the Chiefs were locked in on what to do, while the 49ers looked like the new kids.

You are absolutely right! But one thing I’ve learned is sports is about winning, not being the most liked. I laugh at people now with the excuses they come up with and it’s the same tired ones, oh it’s rigged, it’s scripted, it’s this, it’s that, it’s this, that, and the other. People come up with so many conspiracy theories and I’ve heard all of them. Every time the Chiefs win the Super Bowl. Now I love being the most hated. @@myspiritanimalisacostanza yep all these teams going really hard in free agency trying to get all these other teams players when we been sticking to our own and getting one player that hasnt been on our team, where you truly build is through the draft, we dont draft like cowboys and develop like them, because if we did we would be soft as all get out, we are gritty and resilient and you see that, especially in the playoffs

Odds are always stacked against any one team to win the Super Bowl each year, but KC has been consistently great and in the mix for the last 6 seasons. Until proven otherwise, history backs them to be in the thick of things yet again. I've been a Chiefs for 35 years so while I absolutely want them to three-peat, I know full well that it's not a given. I also know that dynasties don't last forever, so the way I see it, I'm just happy to be here and I'll enjoy the ride for as long as it lasts.

The Packers won the first 2 Super Bowls… but most people don’t know that they ALSO won the Championship the year before those two super Bowls as well. It just wasn’t called the “Super Bowl” that year.

Chiefs have one of the youngest defenses in the league. Have they played a lot of games the last two years? Of course. Will that D be just as good next year? Pretty good chance. And now they got Brown to stretch the field. If they hit on a WR in the draft, it's going to be awfully tough to beat this team in January if Mahomes is healthy.
The only team I'm confident can beat the Chiefs in the playoffs is the Bengals. And I haven't heard any news if Joe Burrow is healthy
