Great to see you on the e-scooter. It’s a great economical performance dual motor scooter. I have the Zero 10x. I left my regen on level one. Anything above that grabs too quickly unfortunately. It offers a really comfortable ride ! I have ebikes, but it’s nice to stand sometimes. Less abuse to the backside. Additionally, if a person has back issues, standing really helps a person to still use & enjoy a plug-in electric vehicle (PEV).
That thing is scary fast. Good thing you don't have roads like we do with cracks and potholes. I think 20 miles is a good distance considering all the power it has.
It's definitely a thing the electric scooter companies do I was on the understanding that this had like 30 to 40 mile range so what it gets that 30 to 40 mile range at it's lowest level so if you don't count the downhill it took you 35 mph so 5 mph less than they say and only half the range they claim
Thanks for taking the hit for scooter science! The voltage sag of going dual motor most likely went below the battery pack cutoff point. I usually ease up and got to eco mode if the battery gets low. I don't think I could use this scooter for commuting unless I had a charger at work, but it would be a fun ride!
Welcome to the scooter world citizen,!!! I done the exact same thing when I first got my scooter thinking that I had juice left, after the first time I had to do it a couple more times on purpose just to see how far I can ,go even in eco mode. Another great video thank you
35 mph on a scooter is so much fun. My Kaabo wolf warrior claims 50 to 70 miles, but most people get 30 to 45 miles. I can confirm 30 miles on one charge.
It cut out because u nailed it w only 46.3 volts and that caused it to hit the 42.3 cut off...the scooter had like minimum 8miles range left ..did u shut it off n then on to see if it would turn back on..? Also. Changing gears...turbo...dual to single motor while moving is the worst thing for your scooter. I own the same scooter and get 34mile range.
Definitely not a joy ride scooter. It's pretty disappointing but it's on me for not doing the math (20 mph x X = 40 miles... = 2 hour ride, at most.) This is when I'm just ready to take a break before going out for more, though, but it's over for the day.
Good Video, That Scooter looks like it's loads of fun, it's the same price I paid for my Himiway Cruiser, and weighs as much too. I think the big draw is it looks crazy fun.
The more I wrote it the more comfortable I got and it was quite enjoyable. Then I took a long break from it and when I rode it again It was a bit awkward I had to get used to it again.
If you had 48 volts left you should have easily made it home. Cut off is at 42 v. When you hit it for those fewseconds you hit the42mark. If you turned it back on ans put in eco single you'd have made it home...I get like 26miles. Average.
Can you do a range test in gear 2? Nobody has made a video on how far it will go in gear 2, I'm really interested to see what kind of range you get in that gear cause I'm buying one and thats the gear ill be cruising in mostly
You have balls of steel! There’s no way I would go 38 miles an hour on a scooter. I have no problem going that fast on my e-bike, but ever since I went over the handlebars on my little nephew’s Razor scooter you couldn’t get me on that thing for all the tea in China. 😬
That was exactly what I was thinking. Forward momentum standing up on these death traps will not end well. That clearance isn't good. Maybe 4 inches on a pot hole? I don't need a death by dumb. You make great videos, keep it safe partner.
Just a Fyi here , I'm sure you know this already ,My Rad died out in pa 5i shut it off and back on and dropped it down to pa 2and limped it home like a good 3miles . I don't know if you tried that it not ?
If I ride my Currus max power you can watch the volts ticking down lol. In eco 3 dual motor it does 21 mph and decent mileage but turbo just sucks the juice (fun though).
I can say with complete confidence that there is noting more embarrassing then to be seen pushing your scooter
I think the cold definitely factors in on battery life!
I want to be on my block when this thing cut off🤣🤣🤣😂😂 good review 👍🏾all man I got to walk home wow
Whenever you going uphill keep in dual and if you can activate cruise control save on battery
Yea mine shuts off at 20 miles as well
44 volts is the cutoff, use the voltmeter to read the battery level It is more accurate than the battery bars.
I saw a video of one cut out at 42v think that's adjustable in P settings.
Great to see you on the e-scooter.

Given how I ride it I was happy with the 20 mile outcome 🙂 The roads are pretty nice here we don't have harsh winners

It is a really fun ride! Really thought I had at least a few miles left
I did not get 20 miles I got about 13 then it died. A nice 50 minute walk back home
13 miles of hard riding is about right. Mine just died on me too. Luckily I was down the street. Sucks man.

So it seems instead of driving in turbo single, you ended up mainly driving in turbo dual the whole time?, and got almost 20 miles?
🐍Walking home definitely deserves a "like", you got mine. 👍
I wish you ran relive app so we could see your map of how far your walk is, lol 😆.
🖖🤙
Sorry for the walk.
No worries, was fun

The walk of shame back home haha

Performance bang for your buck is great!
Good video. Did you ever get comfortable riding a scooter?
The more I wrote it the more comfortable I got and it was quite enjoyable. Then I took a long break from it and when I rode it again It was a bit awkward I had to get used to it again.
im lls yo was talking about making it home the whole time and then it just died on him lmfaooo i knew that was going to happen😂😂😂🤣

It would make a funny video if a cop gave you a speeding ticket.

I guess I'm just used to being in the wind and feeling exposed from riding motorcycles. Didn't even really think about it. 🙂 Was fun

Yeh you would.

It was completely out of juice wouldn't even turn on
@@CitizenCycle925 oh man what a drag . I guess you got your work in then .it dud look fun up to that point though.
My little neighbor girls love their eScooters - - ->>

Be careful out there that thing looks as dangerous as the old yard darts from the 1970's.
I loved jarts!!!
