Good review guys ! So a proper bicycle setup is with front brake on the left side due to the majority of us being right handed and the belief our left hand is weaker and won't send us over the bars ! This may have trickled down to your scooter but it's easy enough to remove the grips and swap the levers left to right !
Reviewers like yourself talk about negatives on a scooter... Why can't scooter makers take all these comments to heart and make a near perfect scooter ? (Apollo, seem to be the listening the most)
Apollo isn't listening. Everyone keeps saying they want a faster acceleration scooter, more range etc. Then along comes nami klima and gave everyone what they wanted
I got the RED one from the first batch this summer. It's my first scooter. So i had no issues getting used to left and right breaks. For me, it's actually a good thing that rear breaks on the right side. Agree with guys that on that scooter you want a little faster take-off speed. But it's still decent. For the first month, I felt that on higher speeds it had some kind of hidden dempfer, so it kept it straight, and I could even ride it with one hand only (not recommend to do), and it was a little hard to turn on slow speeds. But later something happened, so it disappeared... now it's easier to turn, but at higher speeds, it becomes a little more unstable, so now I need to be more careful. The scooter is kind of heavy, but it is actually a good thing. Gives you a more stable feeling. Overall, it's a very solid scooter. LOVE IT

My Pegasus9 has the rear brake on the right as well. I wonder why they have swapped it to that side. Also. Since you guys are Varla guys. How do I fix stem wobble on my Varla Pegasus 9. Is it that big Allen wrench bolt that's at the bottom of the stem? The one they don't give you a tool for? Or is there something underneath that screw that I need to work with. It also feels like my steering dampener has loosened a bit too. Is this normal or could it be broken.
Glad to see this posted so quickly. Still waiting on my replacement from Varla. We will see if it has to go back again. Next time will be a refund and I'll go another direction.

I just really need some help here.
I almost bought a Varla as my first scoot, but I actually found a decently used boosted rev for 600 I’m pretty happy with it so far. I think I’m gonna get a wolf scooter in a about a year.
The fact that the brake levers are reversed is so jarring. This is the first review I've watched to mention that. I was really considering upgrading to this scooter from the base Mantis 10, but one of my biggest reasons for wanting to upgrade was safety. Something with more stable build quality and better brakes. Maybe it's worth the extra few hundred dollars for the Mantis GT
You could, but this is a tedious process, you would have to remove and swap the hydro lines from the levers and then splice the brake sensor lines swap and solder the wires back together, and then you would have them on the correct side. Varla ordered all mechanical brakes on these scooters to bring down the cost then ordered a bulk of Zoom Brakes and has someone in their sweatshop installing the hydraulics and it looks like mistakes are being made. I posted above about my experience with this company after a year of owning an Eagle One, I will never buy or make contact with this company ever again. Fluid Free Rides Rev Rides and Voro Motors are the only companies anyone should deal with in the Continental US. Apollo is worthy now but they started out the same as Varla, cheap Ali Express scooters with their branding on the model. Kaabo is an actual Chinese manufacturing company so the name on the scooter is the name of the facility it comes from. That's a good thing.
Wheel wobble is probably due to out of balance wheel. A $5 box of metric gram wheel weights, and some time finding the equalization point by via running each motor off the ground and adding a weight, moving the weight, etc.... probably would solve the problem.
Both varla models suck, all varla models suck for that matter. Their customer support service is awful, but whats worse is they're overcharging for these scooters when you can buy the same model with much higher specs for cheaper on Amazon

They get a hold of a few accessories in a small rental space and send them out at a crazy markup or order direct from china to your door which leaves delivery 7 shipping schedules up in the air based on what prefecture it is coming from in China. That's why there is always a pre-order and they are out of stock for a time, they have to wait for the purchase to get enough money to place a bulk order and have it shipped to them to inspect then they ship it to you at quite a mark up. You purchase thinking you bought from a brand in the game that is actually making the product but in actuality you're buying a mass-produced clone of a clone and there is no company called Varla at all really that is actually developing and producing scooters at all.
