This special edition Hellcat Charger is one of just 31 Canadian market cars produced in the desirable and collectible Mopar heritage colour B5 metallic light blue!
This 50th Anniversary 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody is #071 of only 501 units produced globally, just like the legendary 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona that inspired it and needed the 501 units produced for Nascar's homologation rules to race. Fun fact, the 1969 Charger Daytona was the first car to break the 200mph barrier in Nascar, and the record stood for 17 years before finally being broken in 1986.
Under the hood, this Charger Hellcat Widebody Daytona has a Supercharged 6.2L Hemi V8 engine, producing a staggering 717hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. This crazy amount of power enables the big Charger to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 196 mph! To slow this big beast down, the Charger features ultra-high performance Brembo 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brakes with vented rotors.
The exterior of this Daytona 50th Anniversary Widebody showcases a unique Daytona decal on the rear quarter panel, a special front grille with the Daytona logo and a rear decklid spoiler. It also features functional air vents and heat extractors to improve aerodynamics and cooling. Completing the unique exterior look are special 20-inch x 11-inch Warp Speed wheels with a Satin Carbon finish wrapped in massive 305/35ZR20 tires!
Inside the cabin, the special edition Charger comes with Daytona logo embroidered Nappa leather seats, complemented by blue accent stitching. Other notable features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a premium audio system, and various driver-assistance features.
The interior also nods to the original Daytona, with blue accent stitching on the black heated and ventilated leather performance seats featuring "Daytona" embroidered seatbacks. The blue accent stitching continues throughout the interior, appearing on the center console armrest, door panels and armrest, dashboard, and shifter. The flat-bottom steering wheel has contrasting silver and blue stitching accents, while velour-bound floor mats have a touch of blue stitching. Both are unique to the Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition. The instrument panel and console bezels are carbon fibre, and a faux-suede headliner completes the look. And because any limited edition is pointless without a callout, a custom IP badge is shown on the passenger side with Hellcat and Daytona logos, identifying each vehicle as X out of 501.
Its unique and aggressive design sets it apart from the regular Hellcat models. Owning one of these Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th Anniversary models is quite exclusive, as it represents a unique blend of power, performance, and a nod to Dodge's racing heritage.
