Omg this workout was amazing. I recently started doing really hard core abs exercises which are obv good but my form was really bad which gave me serious neck pains. But as soon as i did this for the first time i knew this was for me. I specifically love the 'freeing yoga touch to your videos' while also feeling the burn. Thankyou so much for this video.

That was SOOO much better than Pamela Reif's 10 min abs! I loved the stretches between the exercises and the zero neck strain! More folks should be doing this one, especially with all the cell phone/laptop/computer neck injuries we're accumulating as a collective.

I came at this video as someone who was doing zero abs of any sort. The first few times I did it, I thought it was going to kill me. I was grunting and groaning like a weightlifter. But 4 months in, following along about 2-3x/week, I can do the whole thing smoothly and confidently, zero gruntage, feeling strong and tall by the end. It's still hard, but it feels so good! FINALLY an ab workout that works for me! I had scoliosis surgery so I can't bend my back at all (crunches are a no-no for me), this was perfect and killed my abs in the best way! Excited to see my progress!
this video should be more popular!! ive been following other ab workouts for years (those that get over 10s of millions of views) but have always felt that they hurt my neck so much that I'm not able to focus on training my abs properly. this video gave me a good burn on my abs, but it is a sustainable burn and now I will doing this more in order to build up my core :) if you could do like a 30-day programme to help progressively build a strong core , that would be awesome ~ just a suggestion

Practice makes progress! 🥰💖💪🏼 When doing your “half roll back” exercises you really have to engage your core by scooping your belly and tucking that tailbone under. And of course keep your neck & shoulders relaxed - no tension, no gripping.
Glad i found this. I have strained my neck and had pain a few times from doing certain ab workouts while I'm sick.. I know I shouldn't workout when I'm really sick but I have chronic sinusitis and pretty bad allergies so I get sick a lot and I hate to keep losing progress. When I'm kinda sick my muscles aren't are as strong so my neck ends up doing too much work. I just started working out about 5 months ago and my abs have gotten a lot stronger plus my form has improved, but it's not worth the risk of injury.

Make sure when you're doing your half roll backs that you really scoop the belly button in and up and tuck the tail under. It's possible you are not "rounding" enough...that could put strain on your back too. Just keep that in mind to be safe! Thank you so much for your love and support! xoxo

Coming back to this one! Really one of my favorites! I'm struggling a bit with my ab and core strength as it got very weakened after i got sick. Still feeling it a bit in the hips flexors so I struggled a bit with this too! I'll keep doing this one!
I had C 5-7 fused and have another herniated disc above that. Normal Ab workouts are hard on my neck and I end up adapting the exercise so I don't hurt afterwards. I found this ab workout better for my neck and I was able to do all the positions without neck pain. Thanks! I'll be checking out your other workouts too!

I'm not going to lie this was hard I needed to take a break towards the end but I told myself if I didn't finish strong I would regret it so I paused took a few breathes until I was ready and finished and I feel so amazing, time for a shower!
I am recovering from a wipelash. The neck doesn't hurt as long as I do my stretches and arm weights. I want to work my abs but ab exercises that include the neck are out. THANK YOU!
LuciaTepperBeauty Make sure when you roll half way back that you’re really scooping your belly button in and up AND you’re tucking your tailbone underneath. It’s hard for me to gage exactly what’s going on but see if that makes a difference. Also try not rolling back quite as far...perhaps you’re rolling back more than your core can support. Let me know if this helps! 😘
It's possible you were gripping your hip flexors. Keep practicing...the stronger your core gets, the more engagement you'll solely put into your core and not grip anything else!

It’s super common! The stronger your core gets, the less you’ll feel the need to grip in your hip flexors. 👍🏼😘💜

I'm not going to lie this was hard I needed to take a break towards the end but I told myself if I didn't finish strong I would regret it so I paused took a few breathes until I was ready and finished and I feel so amazing, time for a shower!

I am recovering from a wipelash. The neck doesn't hurt as long as I do my stretches and arm weights.
I want to work my abs but ab exercises that include the neck are out.

I start to feel sore in my lower back when I do these- what am I doing wrong? My core does feel engaged but it is the back that gets sore.
LuciaTepperBeauty Make sure when you roll half way back that you’re really scooping your belly button in and up AND you’re tucking your tailbone underneath. It’s hard for me to gage exactly what’s going on but see if that makes a difference. Also try not rolling back quite as far...perhaps you’re rolling back more than your core can support. Let me know if this helps! 😘

Great ab workout to have without any pressure on the neck. But I did have some pain in my hips. I’m wondering if I was doing something wrong.
It's possible you were gripping your hip flexors. Keep practicing...the stronger your core gets, the more engagement you'll solely put into your core and not grip anything else!
