Tbh Riot shouldve made them push as the only LCK team fighting all LPL teams to win the crown, while also showing the crown's weight by wining it, looking back and seeing all the teams reaching the LPL kingdom for the crown, than have faker put his crown down and help his team defend the crown, instead of them defending crown from beginning
The song is good, the visual is amazing but what the fuck they did with the MV story ?? come on Riot, u did the THING for Ambition and Deft but not for Faker ??? it's World song supposed to cover last year World right ? am i missing something cuz i dont remember Linkin Park was World Champion 2023 lol ???? also some player dont even look like themselves, it's took me 6th time rewatch to realize that Akali is Chovy lol, thing also happened to some T1 mems ( Riot did Faker and T1 dirty so hard and im just straight mad af )
Totally agree I just feel like the song is good for LinkinPark but for a worlds song it leaves something to be desired in terms of the storyline leading up to worlds considering the amazing narrative we had leading up to their win last year??? I’d love to hear what their desired direction was for this mv’s narrative and what kind of restrictions they had to incorporate but !!! I’m happy to know a lot of people are thinking similarly about the mv!
not every worlds song has to do with the last worlds case in point burn it all down and starwalking sometimes it’s just to hype the current worlds also last years worlds does not deserve the gods treatment as defts story had years and years that has never been told when most of fakers journey had already been in previous worlds songs and let’s be honest if weibo was the big bad in this trailer that faker had to overcome it would’ve been a joke of a mv

@@cookietk3212 Even assuming you're right, there's no reason for Linkin Park to be in the music video.
The first two that brough the crown and Azir's weapon 0:51 is apparently Kkoma and Roach, and yes the person behind Keria and Oner at 5:08 is Kkoma. IMO this MV is so underwhelming and the only two players that are obvious is Caps and ofcourse Faker. Chovy as Akali does not look like Chovy at all, or maybe that was Zeka but still don't look similar. Zeus was barely shown, only one slash as Aatrox against Bin and that's it lol. Keria I think was Nautilus and then Thresh?? Oner looked really cool when he turned into Leesin but something also felt off. The ending was pretty cool how they showed different region teams that did not make to worlds(hence them stuck in their own islands) still trying to take the throne of T1. I also dislike how they had to cut so many fighting scenes just to put Linkin Park into the frame -.- I love Linkin Park but come on this is an anthem for worlds 2024 and not a promo video for Linkin Park. Kinda disappointing in comparison to the previous ones ngl. Too much Linkin Park and not much action with the players :( Not doing T1 justice at all
Tbh, LP were in frame less than 15seconds across a 4 minute song. It's actually completely fine.
From what I heard this actual video was created only in the last 3 months due to some complications unlike the 6+ months they usually have on worlds animated videos.
I do agree however some of the designs of players were ... "off" with even some of the players themselves being like "huh"? but overall it's still in the top 3 worlds released songs imo.

@@Skysrar 99% of people that have watched it have enjoyed it. Everyone is open to their own opinions. Who knows what went on or the reason Riot only had 3 months for this but regardless of any of our opinions on it, the majority love it. Unfortunately that's the truth :shrug:
I feel so bad for Korean fans. Koreans host an amazing worlds, their league is top of the world, they've made omega banger teaser for Worlds, and yet Riot give them this? Well korean fans are just bunch of nothing to them, i guess 😂
I was disappointed as T1 fan, but where the hell are JDG and Weibo players? The whole Worlds last year was about T1 beating LPL teams, JDG attempting first ever grand slam, and Weibo underdog story. I feel even worse for Chinese fans, and this is coming from a Korean who hates Chinese.
My only gripe with this is that we never actually see Faker fight or do anything. Like i wish, when he takes off his cape, he summons sand soldiers or something.
Coz they need to squeeze in ZOFGK somehow to not ruin LP's MV .. it's for their promotion and advertisement, that's why 😂

I think its more like the rest of the team are his sand soldiers, that's how I looked at it
@HeadGodoftheGodCouncil is true, but still, at least, I wish he actually did something with Azir's staff. Like I said, I wish he would've even summoned something, either soldiers or a sun disk.
This world music video is like a Linkin Park song I don't like it because there's no T1 narrative or story
