I really think it's just a skill issue on fortiche's part. Caps is the most recogniseable because he is really the only one to have any hard defining traits. If you examine caps closer, he doesn't look like caps at all. Same goes for all the other non asian players because each are coming from a different race with very different recogniseable features. They didn't get any of these people right. Hell, even Mike Shinoda doesn't look right. It's not asian specific. It's just that there are a bunch of asians all standing next to eachother that it's harder to nitpick the designs and they all end up looking the same. It obviously looks worse as an asian person being able to look at your own faces everyday in the mirror and figure out all the things that make you unique from your asian counterparts. Beyond that, lets be real, there's a reason why animation studios use hair styles/color as a way to differentiate characters in animation. Otherwise they'd all be the same character. I think what we should be taking away from this is that deft has one generic looking face.

See as a T1 fan myself, sure if they don't want to recycle the last year mv concept(even though there are still some interesting aspects other than the up and down thing because they can focus on T1 as a whole not just faker) but if they really want to make the MV concept looks like T1 defending the castle from the challengers at least show the players more?? show the actual storyline or the fight not the band because it supposed to be the worlds anthem isn't it?? not just a band mv

I really think it's just a skill issue on fortiche's part. Caps is the most recogniseable because he is really the only one to have any hard defining traits. If you examine caps closer, he doesn't look like caps at all. Same goes for all the other non asian players because each are coming from a different race with very different recogniseable features. They didn't get any of these people right. Hell, even Mike Shinoda doesn't look right. It's not asian specific. It's just that there are a bunch of asians all standing next to eachother that it's harder to nitpick the designs and they all end up looking the same. It obviously looks worse as an asian person being able to look at your own faces everyday in the mirror and figure out all the things that make you unique from your asian counterparts. Beyond that, lets be real, there's a reason why animation studios use hair styles/color as a way to differentiate characters in animation. Otherwise they'd all be the same character. I think what we should be taking away from this is that deft has one generic looking face.

Time and effort have a direct and indisputable correlation with quality of product. If you’re trying to argue with that then go nuts you’re arguing against the universe not me.
If that's true, it makes sense that somehow they predicted which big players aren't gonna make it to Worlds, because it's crazy to not put any of the JDG players here when they almost Golden Road. It's also possible that some characters here might've been different players before and were changed after all teams were set.

Simple. They wanted the most important teams from each continent to be represented. The video doesn't have to follow the story of the last World Cup, it simply has to represent the most important teams from each region fighting for the World Cup, and the current champion is T1. The video is for everyone, not just for Asians.
What they did wrong was to represent all the Asian players practically the same. They didn't do a good job on the artistic part.
