I just acquired my Entertainment Business degree, I want to lay a solid foundation for my artist management brand…what are some things you would recommend having in place BEFORE signing your first artist??? What is the most make/break move or lack there of that MUST be in place first??
Had to FINALY leave you a comment🔥🔥🔥💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 VERY POWERFUL content for ANY artist in my opinion !!! Been a subscriber for maybe a month or two now, and it's OBVIOUS that you're a DIAMOND amongst Gems on YT. Can't wait to one day REPAY you for your presence ,,, Promise it'll be unique, pleasant, and hopefully just as useful!
I hear "Learn the music industry/business." pretty often. But i'm still not 100% sure what that means. Is it just the mechanics of drawings numbers through listeners and butts in seats? is it legal agreements, promotional campaigns, and record deals? Or is it a catch all phrase for all aspects? If you could clarify it'd be a big help. Thanks!
Hi Jeff! Thanks for asking! I don't 1-1 unfortunately. However, I do have a very in-depth course, and when you sign up for it you also get a full business toolkit (guides, spreadsheets, contracts, budgets, etc.), as well as ongoing support inside of a private Facebook group. Head to SmartistU.com - create a free login - and have a look around! Cheers!
Thanks for watching! ✨

Hallo ☺
Do I need a degree?
No. Absolutely not. Of course it would help in some areas but most managers don't have one and they're killing it. You need a degree in "experience".
