I am a bit skeptical about widespread or very long Boring tunnels but short ones, like in Vegas, make huge sense.
Id like to see some connecting cities for freight. 100mph package delivery.
@@Bryan-fb8dh That would be cool but I think even the Boring Co. couldn't do that economically. I suspect drones will take care of that. Well at least lighter stuff. Also, caravans or robo-semis will be cheaper than rail, and less likely to poison a town.
You cannot compare February 2023 to February 2022 sales as last year Chinese New Year was in February and this year it was celebrated in January. Need to compare Jan + Feb to get Delta.
China numbers will plummet this year and Europe will not cover the loss. Chinese car market is crashing. Tesla is already shipping China cars to Europe and recently cut the prices to sell them.
China's entire economy is crashing. Cars are just a small part of it. And with about 35% - 45% of foreign manufacturing relocating outside of China due to zero covid policies, their recovery will be slow and painful. Tesla did NOT drop their prices to regenerate demand. Tesla's cut pricing due to increased productivity and economy of scale. Comparing Tesla backlog to that of other EV manufacturers is not an 'apples-to-apples comparison. It's more like an 'apples-to-elephants comparison, which is acceptable only to morons and children.

wait time is good for marketing when you are producing only 100k a year, but as you are expanding capacity eventually supply catches up with demand, and that is natural. But if you think long wait is good for business then you are mistaken as the market is growing and maturing. i.e, do you want to wait 8 months to accept delivery or you buy the product from another seller that has less than 1 month wait time?
