    Great tutorial video and thank you. If one has a 2009 Hyundai Sonata, the Moog pt# for the ball joints are K500035. The Moogs are problem solver and must be greased.

    Looking to do this to my 2007 tomorrow your video inspired me to do it myself after it looking so simple. Here's hoping this will fix my front end noise the wife keeps complaining about.

    Weird.. my ball joint bolt won't even reach the control arm hole without me needing to lift up the control arm with a jack

    I did the same as your method of disassembling and installing, but I tightened the lower screw tightly because I do not have a torque wrench... does this cause a problem and stiffen the steering wheel or not...?

    I was keeping up until you brought the torque wrench out. Your terminology just confused me.

      A Torque wrench gives the proper tightening of nuts and bolts. You should have a torque wrench for suspension and caliper bolts, if you do not have a torque wrench at least use blue loctite liquid on suspension and caliper bolts.

    It doesn't look too terribly difficult. Is it much different for a 2009?

    • @CarsandEspresso
      @CarsandEspresso  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      2006-2010 (North America) was the fifth generation - so it should be the same....

    • @CarsandEspresso

    Hey you forgot to put the Carter pin back in, and if you don't that nut will come on loose that's why it's called a castle nut. You're teaching people the wrong way.

    • @CarsandEspresso
      @CarsandEspresso  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A locknut, also known as a lock nut, locking nut, self-locking nut, prevailing torque nut, stiff nut or elastic stop nut, is a nut that resists loosening under vibrations and torque. - Wikipedia
